"Safe Haven" laws. Good idea? Bad idea?
personally, i think its a fine idea. providing an anonymous, easy alternative to killing the baby and leaving it in an airport bathroom. the only negative is with this method being so easy, its possible more babies will be abandoned. but at least i think less will be killed/abandoned in bathrooms and dumpsters. also someone attempted to abandon her child when it was too old (the limit is something like 7 days after birth, i think, correct me if im wrong) and her child was like a month old, so then they have a problem. but overall, i think its a good alternative. opinions?

i dunno. i picture some mothers who keep their child only because killing it is far too extreme and adoption is a big, extremely embaressing hassle. now they dont have to deal with either one. i dont think the number of abandoned children with rise dramatically, but its possible that it will rise marginally.
