Do you ever get like really really really tiny pin-sized holes in your 32? I was looking on my Abshire today and I noticed it. They're really small, like someone poked a pin through it. Should I patch it up or not worry about it. Note: I did pu fabric-softener on the bag in the past, 2x actually, but no more.
I have two huge pin holes in my Hermey bag that I have sealed with band-aids. Band-aids work fine, but you have to reapply them about every week or so depending on how often you kick.
i have used super glue on my sandman when it develops small holes and frays and such, and it works incredibly. im not positive if it works as well on facile, but i suspect it does.
I dont like super glue... the parts it touches become hard and crusty. I use adhesive made specially for fabric, like Liquid Stitch or Super Fabric. They can be found in craft stores, or wal-mart if you run out of options.
I was just going to post the same question when I saw yours!
I got holes in my 32 facile the first month. There is like at least two holes on every big panel. I washed the bag and glued them. Then, when I was rolling it in my hands, I noticed MORE holes!!
I suppose it was from the shampoo (Herbal Essences with balsam).
What do you use to wash it?
I use Fructis to wash my bags. And I aslo think it depends on the facile your bag is made of whether it's gonna develop holes or not...I had a bag that had million holes in it only after one day.
Some of those holes will come from washing the bag and squeezing the bag too hard when filled with water and soap. This forces the water to work its way through the fabric. Heres a tip, when washing gently squeeze the water and soap out. Don't force it out. Just a tip, Richard
to add to richards post, use as mild and all-natural a soap you can. Dr. Bronners.
Dr. Bronners
DR. BRONNERS! all natural organic (actually edible) soap, i use it for everything!
any natural foods store or organic place will most likely have it.

Is King of the Mud. That is all he can see.
And the turtles, of course...all turtles are free
As turtles and, maybe, all creatures should be."

I recently patched my bag up with mole skin. It sounds like some imported fabric but it's just Dr. Scholl's. I got mine at Wal-mart. You just cut whatever amount you want. I haven't shredded hard with it yet but I think it will hold up good. Let me know if anyone wants me to give an update later on or if you have tried this.
