danish dynamite

Post by Lise »

Both Thursday and Friday afternoon I played for about an hour in front of a camera. I don't like to play in front of cameras (or am not used to it!) so a big part of the footage I got, was of me kicking the wall, throwing the bag around and being pissed off 'cause I was playing so poorly! (which was really kinda embarrassing!!) :P

Anyway, I still managed to get some nice tricks and combos working....

-I know the bag can be hard to see at times. Sorry. Denmark can be so dark!

Holy Crap

I was more than impressed with your vid, Lise. It seems like usually (and I do not mean to be mean to anyone) I'll see videos of girls (shreditas) and think, "they are pretty good compared to most girls." BUT YOU ARE JUST PLAIN GOOD. Your style kicks, you make footbag look easy, your drifters are awesome along with everything else that is awesome. You are awesome.

Go Lise!! You've got an amazing style! It also seems like your links are much harder than last time you put out a video. Props all around. :) I don't know if you already do, but if you don't, you should thrown in more symposium moves. Downtime symposium whirl would be awesome. I want to come to Denmark, now!

You are SO good Lise!!

Your midstring whirling swirl made me pump my fist in the air! hahaha

You have such awesome variety and you hit all your tricks with so much confidence and style.

Your swirl stuff was really impressive!

I remember being surprised over and over while watching this video, really great work.

Yeaaaaaa! Lise, you are fantastic! Ducking Clipper > Void! Torque > Far Symple Swirl!

Also, I laughed at the filename. :)

You remind me a lot of Derek Vandall. Check out 3:08...
Tongue in cheek: reminiscent of a certain Vandallizer's Blurry Drifter > Drifter > rpt video.

Hey, Kev! I agree on the tongue, thing! I noticed that too!
This video was amazing! VOID!!!! I've been playing for, like, 6-7 years and I can't even fathom that stupid move!! Vortex BEESAUCE???? Far symple swirl beesauce?? Torque > far symple swirl was STYLEY!!! SMOOTH, SMOOTH style! Spinning osis looked NICE and EASY. Bothsidedness was real eyecandy (except that lack of flip pixie :p) Nice shuffle and triplessness! Nice quints!!! Seriously.....VOID!!! Keep it up, Lise!!

I am not allowed to download anything to this ******computer harddisc at my hotel in the Austrian mountains.
I love to ski but I hate to miss out on a good footbag video. Now I really look forward to come home to Denmark again and download Lises video.

I have seen you do the most crazy and stylie stuff with a footbag and I really enjoy to see your progress. Cool that you now are sharing a bit of your great effort and tallent with the rest of our beloved footbag world.

In my oppinion you are one of the most fantastic player arround.

Hey! Thanks everyone for the compliments. I'm glad you liked it..

I guess I shouldn't get so upset about my game. Filming it definately helps me see a lot of things in my game, like how a bad pixie can make a big and messy dimwalk and such... and also that I tend to poke my tongue into my cheek when I concentrate a lot! :) (I only just found out about that now. I wonder how long I've been doing that for...?!)

Sam, I agree with you that some symposium moves would be nice. I've asked my shins several times if they want to learn some symposium stuff, but they always tell me: No, please wait! 8O

There are so many things I'd like to learn, but I just have to take a few at the time to not get too confused.. Lately I've worked a lot on my flip drifter, and also on my osii and steps.. and swirls (downtime). I would definately like to also get my flip pixie working some time, and I do school it a bit. But it still needs A LOT of work!! (-so damn hard!)

Hey Ken, I liked your Shakespeare quote, I'd almost forgotten about that. I think it goes something like: There is something rocking in the State of Denmark... :P almost

-The song is Sing it Back by Moloko, from the album I'm not a doctor.
