Um, props on the whirring swirl? I saw you "hit" it, but never actually seal it. Good job.

Finished editing Brad's video, quite proud of it too. Finals week is coming up and it's gonna be a bitch, but once it's done, I'm gonna be on a nice lil spring break. I'm planning on takin a trip to Pittsburg, visit my boy Caleb. Get our kick on, party some, do some climbing, and then some.

I worked my shoulders pretty hard today and they're sore as I type.

John and I played for about 2 hours, probably a little less. Some memorable things from John: royale bs, pixie grifter, flip pdx eggbeater. There was more, but my memory sucks as usual. His game is getting so much better that I get surprised every session. Oh yeah, he hit pheonix bsos too.

I hit flip fear<flip fairy butter. YEAH! It was lucky, but I did it and they were both clean. I have such a hard time with flip fairy for some reason. I also did royale bs (yes, downtime) and vortex<royale. I hit nuclear same torque after a couple tries because I'd never thought of it before.

It was pretty damn fun as usual. I go to work just so I can work out and play footbag on nice carpet  Nah, the job is cool too.

Good long session tonight with Brad. I only wanted to play for about an hour, but that hour extended to around 2. I'm deciding no more shred for the rest of this week for a couple reasons. 1, this shred session just killed my legs and groin. 2, I have 3 finals tomorrow, another the next day, another the next day, AND, one more on friday. 3. I have to save energy for Caleb, I'm gonna shred his ass off !! 4. Gotta stay fresh for Pittsburg.

So tonight, I'll just list some things I remember. I didn't think I remembered much until I was talkin to Dave and eatin some pizza. Oh don't forget about Dole Pine-Orange Banana 100% juice. I have a plan to stop drinking so much sake and beer by replacing it with juice, because Dole makes some boooomb juices !

Ok, shred...Brad and I finished the night off with grifters, we didn't hit a lot, but grifters. I managed to hit pixie grifter, I was in fantasy land when I busted that. Also hit paradox grifter both sides. Symp quantum mirage, next time I'm making it symp. quantum symp mirage, I know I can hit it. I also hit phoenix bsos, that was pretty pump. Eggbeaters, I like that move, I love watching other people hit it, but I have a hard time hitting them. Sooo, I'm gonna start hitting them every session. Tonight I hit paradox eggbeater both sides, and eggbeater both sides, atleast I have something to work with. I also hit reverse swirling pickup > fear, pretty cool combo. Just about anything before or after reverse swirling pickup looks nice, so that move is up there in the top 3 moves for me. I love hitting them, they feel easy, and they feeel gooood. Shred on !

Let it be known that Brad is the best guy out there. I am just sobering up on this horribly Saturday of a reality. I have missed work for the first time in my life, because of drinking... I can't let this get in my way. Thank you Brad, a million times, because this guy, you, went to work for me and told the truth that I was sick. I am, I am sick, a sick piece of shit. I have to drive to Pittsburgh to shred and do all sorts of fun stuff like party, wall climb, shred, hang out with good friends I've met through footbag in less than one hour.

No more drinking on Friday night, no more drinking throughout the weekdays. NO MORE BUYING ALCOHOL ! I am done with that, I will make one exception for Sat. night if I am offered alcohol. Sorry for all the stupid shit I've ever done (breaking stuff, making horrible sentences, trying to jump off rooves, puking in various locations, plain partying way too hard)

Thanks Brad for being the best friend I could ever ask for and all my other friends close to me. I may be drunk right now, but I mean it.

What a great weekend I had. I went over to Pittsburgh to visit Caleb A. and some friends. I left Sat around 2:00 PM, after I was sobered up enough. I knew that I wasn't gonna shred the best that day with Caleb cause my body was a bit beat up.

On the way up, I got lost a couple times, and the great thing was I didn't care. I was just driving around Pittsburgh, taking wrong turn after wrong turn. I was still a bit delirious from the night before. I finally found where I needed to be, except there was a damned protest that took up all the street. So I couldn't get to the street I needed, but I saw the building that I had to meet Caleb at. After I met up with Caleb, we decided to go meet with his girlfriend, so I could suprise her. She had no idea I was in the city. I met a bunch of Caleb's friends, and I was QUITE impressed by the massive amount of people he knows. I call him president of the building, because everyone knows him in this huge college dorm place.

Later, we shred it up in three different spots, we kept moving around to new locations. The best part was how people were really interested in footbag, and knew that Caleb was the 2002 Intermediate Footbag Champion. I saw so many cute girls that day, my head almost popped. I talked to Caleb about Clavens wanting to go to a college where there is shred. I HAVE THE ANSWER ! Pitt, it's simple. It's pretty close to where I live, so we can have our monthly shred sessions. There would be 2 Intermediate world champions going to 1 college. The new crew combined would be Brad N, Caleb A, Jake M, David C., Bob G(if he still plays), and myself. Now come on, how unstoppable is that ?!?

I also went to a pretty big party that night, Caleb told me I had to go to atleast one party that was in a shitty basement, with a bunch of shitty beer, and shitty music, so I did. I had my first Jell-O shots, which I will start making in the future, delicious ! I also had my first green beer, horrible ! AND I got to hang out with one of the cutest girls on the planet, AND just met lots of great people. So in conclusion, I will either start making more trips to Pittsburgh, or eventually move there.

OH, and then there is Sunday. In short, I shred with just Jake M. which was really fun. I had a great time with him and then we ate at LuLu's Noodles again. I ate there the night before, so delicious. We had good footbag and other misc. stuff conversation. I love footbag.

I'm going to take a month or so off from playing until GRASS. I want to concentrate more on exercise and building muscle/endurance. I haven't felt like I've been improving any lately anyways. I think a little time off and some cross-training will help out a bit.

I'm exhausted !! And Bobby G., you never did edit or repost about our session, shame on your lazy ass !

Today was so gorgeous of a day, about 75 degrees and the skies were lookin great. After I got back from school, I checked in at Brad's house. His car was there, but he wasn't answering the door, so I just kept being persistant until he got up. He was lookin pretty tired, but hey, I was there to share my energy. "Braaaad, it's beautiful outside, let's footbag!!"

He did somehow avoid kicking with me, so later I used my new K2 skates and skated some. Then I skated down to City Park, and played some ole kicky sack. This was at the spot where I first met the Young Souljas, I'm thinkin I posted about them a while ago. I played for a while and saw a couple guys I knew. ALSO, some fellow named Joe walked up to me and started talkin to me about hacky sack. From what I gathered, he kicks with another friend, is somewhat serious, and was trying to learn some tricks. He was soo impressed by me freestyling, so he gave me his # to call him up to play.

I was very pleased with the solo session, I was feeling real good with the change of weather all around me. Also, since I just got done skating, my legs were pretty tired, but they felt really light after putting lavers on compared to skates. My DLO's are getting pretty strong, my drifters were pretty strong, and I was beatin eggs pretty well too. I don't believe I hit anything new, I just played with what I had, and it was damn fun. After shredding for about 1.5 hours, I had to skate home. When I got home, my legs were shot, and was in need of a shower. I went to work for 2 hours, and then got a pretty good work out, I tried maxing out on our chest press. I managed to hit 185, I was pretty happy about that. When I tried 200, it felt like I added 50lbs. So now I am sitting here, completely tired and knowing that tonight's sleep is going to be the king of all sleeps.

Ok, I'm retyping this entry since I X'd out of it about 3/4 the way through -_-

Thanks Dave, I try to update this when I can. So today is the day to update. The weather has been getting quite nice lately, mid 60's to mid 70's. Finally the spring weather is here, and I plan on shredding under the sun whenever possible.

Brad and I took to downtown Parkersburg cause the weather was so nice a couple nights ago. It was a bit windy, and the lighting was pretty dim, but we kicked anyway for a while. The only note worthy thing about that session was the police officer. He was cruising by and flashed his spot light at us and said on his nifty speaker ,"Go play somewhere else." I thought that was quite the half-assed effort on his part, but being us, we moved. Then again, being the smart asses that we are, we moved 50 feet away to a nearby sidewalk. It was also dim lit, but it worked.

I had a lot of spare time today, cause I slept through my 7:30 AM class again. That class is going to kill me, but I will start waking up earlier. I just have the hardest time getting up on Monday morning. Later when I woke up...around 11, I decided I'd drive over to City Park and shred. So I made a new Shred mix cd to get me in the kickin mood. I played there for around 1.5 hours or so and then went to work.

After work, I lifted some and then kicked with Brad. Pretty fun session, it also lasted about 1.5 hours. That makes for a lotta overall exercise today !!! After I got into shred, things started feeling better, and my body started responding better. I hit a couple new moves, I was messing with butterfly rakes, I'm not sure what they're called. It's like going into a butterfly, but raking at last second. So I was hitting those both sides with different variations to them, fun stuff ! I also hit Fairy Eggbeater (Orangutang??) and bubba beater bsos. The ole eggbeaters are workin out pretty damned well after practicing them for a couple weeks. Also hit paradox drifter > ducking butter > repeat > repeat. I hit flip pixie ducking mirage(assassin) and flip smog too, I think I've hitten the smog before though. I think something I'm going to work at some more, eggbeaters, and blenders. I can't do blenders well at all, and I love watching people hit them. Other than that, I'll work on all my stuff flip, and just kick like I usually do.

Here is a quick clip of the Orangutang move, fairy eggbeater. Anybody have a clue to why it's named what it is ?? Makes no sense at all too me. I remixed the response a little, so if you think it's a lame move, atleast listen to brad's response. I still don't have footage yet to edit...looks like I might be editing also in a big whirwind session to get it finished by Sat.

Haha, well I didn't think you wree going to hit it, especially not on your first try. Cool trick.

Heal up, Stephen. I think your style is pretty rad too. Exercising is a great substitute if you can't shred.

I really like watching shred videos I haven't seen in a long time. Right now, I'm watching Vortex. The Freestyle Underground section with Chad and Sunil is so good. Chad's vids are a favorite of mine. They always have a good soundtrack which is most important to me in a video. Balance of Power is up there. It might be my favorite ever. Any video with The Minibosses in it is going to kick ass. Ah! Sunil is so frikkin good! Flurry<toe blur<toe blur<legbeater repeat. This footage is, what, 3-4 years old?

I'm really watching these because I can't sleep. It's around 90 degrees in my room right now

No doubt about the too hot in the room thing, it was so hot that I woke up, went downstairs and grabbed my gallon of water and slept with it, cause it was cold. I was gettin quite pissed off at the time, I'm going to invest in a window air conditioner or something, cause it's going to get a LOT hotter than last night !
