Good Shots/Drinks???

Post by delakong »

I was wondering what kinda shots/drinks you all like. Some of the shots/drinks I've been enjoying recently are:

-Redheaded Slut.....shot (I don't remeber what's in it other than Jager)
-Irish Car Bomb.....drink (Drop a shot of Bailey's into a glass of Guiness, chug)
-Astropops.....shot (I have no idea what's in in)
-Three Wise Men.....shot (151, Jim Beam, Jack Daniels I think) I don't really like the taste of it but it's fun to have a couple.

I'm sorry I don't know what's in the shots but trust me, they're great if you want tasty shots. The three wise men one isn't tasty but I like it.

Red Headed Slut is Jager, Peach Schnapps (Thus Red Headed), and cran berry juice with varrying degrees of juice

Funny story about an Irish car bomb, me and 4 friends were sitting at a house watching the Superbowl and we decide to make a few of these things. We pour em all out but the Pat's score touchdown in the game so we all run back to the TV and sit and watch for like 10 minutes. After this we get back up and all go to take our drinks. Now keep in mind we'd been drinking the entire day and were already pretty trashed. Anyways, we slam these things and about 2 or 3 seconds after the fact we all look at eachother with a look of remorse. Me and another guy puke all over the place and the other two guys are sitting there gagging. Evidently what happened was during the ten minutes that we watched the game as the drinks sat, the Bailey's curdled due to being mixed with the Guiness and Whiskey.

Anyways, here are some of my favorite shots:

352 Cocktail: 151 proof rum, Grey Goose vodka, bourbon whiskey
Fahrenheit 5000: Firewater/Cinnamon Schnapps, Absolut Pepper Vodka, Tobasco Sauce.

If any of you guys wanna test your manhood, take F5000.

Oh, and I think Three Wise Men is Jack Daniel's, Jim Beam, and either Johnie Walker (Jani Walker?) Jose Cuervo or Yukon Jack but I've only had it with the latter two.

If you have any Johnie Walker make a Three Wise Men out of it and PM me the results.

I want to be a bartender when I grow up. Mixology all the way baby, props on putting this in the Arts forum

A Dr. Pepper is a good drink/shot.

Fill a glass half with coke/Pepsi, half with beer.

Then drop a shot glass of amaretto into the beer/coke mixture and chug/drink. It tastes a LOT like the pop Dr. Pepper.

Amaretto makes me naseous now (I don't know why, I never got sick drinking it), but this is a good drink that people may enjoy. Especially those who like the pop.

Tokyo Tea

1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz rum
1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz tequila
1/2 oz triple sec
1 oz Midori® melon liqueur

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake, strain into a glass filled with ice, and serve.

Alcohol by volume: 33 Percent (67 proof)

Tastes like juice, most people have never heard of it, it's really good.

fireshot - 1 shot of bacardi 151

1. Light shot on fire
2. cup it with your hand and put it out
3. Make sure there is suction between your hand and the shot glass
4. Take the shot, while trying to keep your hand cupped on it as much as possible
5. keep it cupped after taking the shot
6. bring it up to your mouth, uncup it and take the hit of alcohol

It's insane to take a fireshot, I would say 1 would probably do the trick, maybe 2, depends how much of a drinker you really are. But when you inhale the fumes after taking the shot, its very similar to taking a shot of everclear. But make sure to follow directions on this one, cause if you don't cup it and just take the shot, well, you would have to be a real idiot to do that

Holy shit that video is hilarious.

James, though, I'm curious and want to try this without turning out like the guy in the clip.

I pour the shot of 151, light it, cover the top of the shot glass with my hand to put the flames out, remove my hand a little and drink?

What confused me is step 4 and 6, I take the shot on step 4 but I drink the alchohol on step 6?

After watching that video, I believe I should never try that shot. Not intentionally blowing fire out your mouth and having fire on your neck is a pretty bad mistake. Knowing me, if I were already drunk , I'd be a walking bon-fire.

Edit : I stick with Sake Bombs...mmmm...hence my video production logo ;-)

Boy, do I remember....

I watched the whole thing. 8) Actually I was the one who went and woke up Sunil, which the 'alcohol in all the OTHER orifices' is a direct result of.

Ahhh... good times.
