Hey guys,

in case you were wondering, I was a little peeved that people hosted and posted the previous vids however they pleased without asking me. The 3rd video was posted in my blog to try and discourage members from being shallow and only checking the Video forum. It's too late now. In future, please respect the work I put into these and ask if unsure.

Luckily, I do enjoy making vids and will likely continue to do so.

Anyhow, enough about that. Enjoy the vid. It's a small file size this time!! :D

Jorden

Edit: I totally did not intend to sound "elitist". Sorry if I came across that way.

Well thanks for the video Jorden, I enjoy seeing what you are hitting. I'm sure this one has some good shred in it as well.

Hopefully you did not intend to come off as elitist as I felt you did in your post above... :?

***EDIT***
Sorry it is sometimes easy to take things incorrectly online.

Ok onto what I really want to say....

HOLY SHIT THIS IS SUCH A GREAT VIDEO!!! I NOW HAVE A NEW FAVORITE SHREDDER!
You have impressed me more than I can even say. That was damned amazing, I don't even know what to say. And funky dancing to boot! Please keep making videos so I can get my Jorden fix, because now I am hooked.

Edit:

You wow me. You are the only person who I can consitently download and remain not just impressed, but gaping in awe. You are incredible Jorden and unlike 99% of shredders throughout the world, you seem to be able to utilize every set, every move, and every combo that this game was intended for. Beyond that I am just speechless; AFK, watching video for the 4th time.

I don't think he sounded elitist at all. It's his work, he wants people to respect that. Seems fair to me.

Fantstic video as always Jorden. I had no idea you were such a skilled danseur. :)

I'm seeding this Intense Session at http://www.freedomfootbags.com/shredtorrent/index.php if footbag.org is going slow for anyone.

Edit: Once you finished downloading, please leave the download open so you can help others get it faster. If you already have it, "download" it from the shredtorrent site, save it where you already have the file, it will recognize that you already have the file, and start uploading it to those who need it.

That was an excellent bakesale. 8O Just curious, do you cross train Jorden?... or is your endurance all from practising footbag?

Gimme a smile, baby. C'mon, pretty pretty, gimme a smile baby.

C'mon, pretty, turn that shit upside down fo' me.

edit: I, too, am curious about your training techniques. Have you had to deal with shin splints and other related leg injuries at all?

Jorden,

No offense intended if you were referring to me at all.

I have to say that honestly, I don't quite get your view-point though.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm all for everyone being able to control how their stuff is distributed, but it's a bit of a free-for-all out here on the internet, no?

The way I see it, if you're going to publish anything online (especially in a blog of any kind), you can sort of expect that people are going to link to your work from all over the place, most of the time without asking. I'd say that this is basically the spirit of having a blog in the first place ... and personally, I'm flattered when people actually want to link to stuff I've done - no matter how they do it.

I'm also not quite sure what you mean about being shallow by only checking the video forum ... ? Isn't this why we have a video forum? So that we don't have to go hunting for the bad-ass shit? Am I shallow if I don't read any of the other forums?

:) :) :) I ain't even trying to argue with you dude. Not really :D I can even relate to your feelings having been publishing shit out here for a few years now and having people "hack" my site folders and downloading videos that weren't even "public", among other minor intrusions.

It's basically the same deal every time you post a direct link to the media clip instead of the attribute page that links to it, too.

I dunno. I'm not really asking you to defend your position. I'm just a bit confused about your statement, so I'm thinking in type.

Sincerely, Thank you for publishing your extraordinary talent!! I haven't played for about a month, but your videos have inspired me to get out there again ... soon ... :)

The funny things is, when I wrote the above I didn't even realize that Jorden had posted a direct link to his media clip in the original post.

Basically, what I meant there was a case in which someone other than the original publisher places a link directly to the media file without the proper, author intended attributes (that a link to the html page displays); not Jorden in this case, 'cause as the author, he can link to it anywhere, however he likes.

Did that make any sense at all??

I also wanted to say, "For the record", that I didn't seed any of Jorden's video orginally. I noticed the link on the shredtorrents site, downloaded it and it blew my mind, so I posted on FreedomFootbags.com/weblog/.

Another funny thing is that I don't even know if he's referring to me at all at this point, so my assumption could turn out to be good comedy here :D

THIS is the 100,000 th word I've typed today.

Hey peeps,

My intention was not to point the finger, and I do not blame certain people over others. Just keep in mind this was how I felt. As Allan said, perhaps it was wrong of me.

I dunno. It just would be nice to be able to post a video discretely and not have people shouting about it from the rooftops. If you want to host any of these on your website that's cool, just throw me a PM saying "hey, can I host ..." and I'll likely say "yeah sure". The videos are shot from my OWN ROOM for pete's sake. It's nice to know where they are on the web.

Am I wrong about this?? :?

Heh, sometimes certain tricks call for celebrations.

I train for footbag by...umm...playing footbag, and the occasional run.

My body and I both agree that injuries/shin splints/whatever are not for me. It's a mutual agreement. Okay okay, maybe I've just been lucky.

To request that people ask before they link to stuff you put on the web? I wouldn't say wrong so much, but it is pretty limiting.

I would suggest that perhaps you could post in your blog that you have a video available for download "on request" and then when someone asks, you give them the link and tell them not to publish it. Maybe this is what you did orginally? I haven't actually RTFA ;)

Otherwise, if you post a direct link to it anywhere, you can somewhat expect that someone, somewhere is going to download it without asking :D

I gotta go!! Peace Jorden, Erik ... everyone :D

Ok, let's just let this go. I don't care anymore. Arguing totally sucks.
Life is meant for enjoyment, not arguing. Footbag is enjoyable. Yeah, I think I'll play some footbag. Maybe make another hundred videos.

Erik, I don't hate you man. You're awesome and very supportive. I always look forward to your responses and value your input on everything. Don't feel bad!

Jorden

P.S. anybody have requests for the next vid? :)

all I can say is wow, massive props from over here! Everything works together so well. I like your midstring pixie osis>stepping stuff, I would be keen to have your originallity. Symple swirls, mixed up barraging moves, the flow, working it, working it.

Quick q, are you left foot dominant?
