The monsterhack vids section was GOLD. Probably the best static source for shred videos online. I also referenced monsterhack to interested parties...

You'll be missed.

Did he quit the site, or everything to do with footbag? I wish none, but I hope not everything! I'll miss you buddy.

I also mentioned his site to people who were interested in footbag.

part of me wants to agree wholeheartedly, but eric obviously wasnt happy in general when this all went down. he had a vision for footbag, and he wasnt seeing it. i say, leave him alone, whats done is done, no reason to harp on the topic anymore and fuck with him. whatever

He gets no pity from me. I loved monsterhack. It's one thing to stop playing the sport, but it's another to stop and start bitching about it and saying everyone that plays footbag doesn't have a life. That's just not cool.

Monsterhack was dismantled. But that does not mean Eric Windsor isn't a cool person.

I'd like to Thank Eric Windsor for having such a great site while he did and for being honest and telling everyone why he chose to leave footbag out of his personal life.

Footbag is not for everyone forever.

Thanks for the Best Site Ever Eric Windsor.

Later Skater.

I didn't say he wasn't cool, I just said his decision wasn't cool.

Footbag is a bitch.

There's no way in hell anyone can make a living from this sport because it's so underground. The market is so small.

If someone were to tag along with a 'parent' company, things might be different.
For example... if someone were to go into business with a skateboarding company (for example) and were to focus on Skateboarding, but with footbag tendrils, then the business wouldn't be dependent on us slack-arsed footbaggers.

We've no-one to blame but ourselves about the end of Monsterhack. We all could have supported the industry that supports us more... But we don't.

Sure, Eric Windsor may have had a bad attitude towards the end but at least he made a damn good effort to make a living out of what he loved.

We've no-one to blame but our selves.

I refrained from commenting on Eric's original post, but I do not blame myself for the demise of Monsterhack. Nor should any of you. People need to take responsibility for their own shit, including Eric. Crying about how you didnt get rich off this sport is just weak. Nobody can bitch about that to me. Windsor and I are homies. We go way back. I'm sorry he doesnt think all the good times and parties werent worth it, but I'm not gonna feel sorry for his ass because he quit. Life goes on. Best of luck Eric, but to take one of your own quotes: "Dont let the door hit you where the good lord split you."

I`m always sad to see somebody who obviously loved footbag leave the sport.

That said, I also think it is exceedingly weak to say you are going to sponsor an event, and then not follow through. :?

honestly, I'm surprised it took this long for that web site to get to him.

about a year ago or so, when Eric started selling Richies for $25, he told me that he was making absolutely no money on mh.com. He was selling stuff at cost!!! That was one seriously kick ass web site, it must have taken a lot of work and time to put together that site plus the filming plus a distribution SERVICE (hardly a business, as he wasn't making money).

I just hope he cools down for a bit, and comes back to the sport for the real reasons we play... for the zen, for the community, for the self discovery, for the PARTIES!!!

he'll be back. footbag is too awesome.
BRICK!
