Can someone please answer these questions for me:
A. What is the best video editing software for making footbag videos?
B. What programmes do I need to compress my videos?
C. The videos come off the camera at 15mb per minute, is this really big?
D. The resolution is 320x240, is this very good? The framerate is 24 fps, is this very good?

A) Apple's Final Cut Pro is my choice, of course this only works for the macintosh endowed. If you have to work on a PC, Adobe Premiere is probably your choice. Adobe makes good stuff though.
B)One of those two programs should have a compression engine installed in it. Just export your video when done, choice your compression codec and boom. I'm sure there are tons of little programs made just for the compression part if it doesn't work. Check out Version Tracker for a program. I recomend compressing with a MPEG-1 codec or a DivX codec. Highest compatibility (most people will be able to see it with the widest range of system setups) and nice quality. I can't wait till MPEG-4 is common place. It looks better and is smaller. People have problems with it even though it is a free upgrade. QuickTime should be able to play MPEG-4s.
C) No, actually that's small. I can't think of how much room DV footage takes a minute right now (late). Are you using a Digital Video camera or a still camera with a video setting?
D) 320x240 is a great resolution for web video. 24 fps is as fast as you are going to get with a PAL setup (European video format) NTSC has 30 fps and is the North American video format.
You're welcome for the help. Have fun making videos, don't forget to ask player's permission and try to shoot against a solid color background without much camera shake and trying to get the entire body of the shredder in the frame. I like to hold the camera hi or low when I'm filming so that there legs have a solid background and it's easier to discern what is going on (Shred's just so crazy man...)
