shrug, a pretty bad sesh but w/e

- gyro dlo bsos + janiwalker (one string)
- spin whirl>pdx. whirl>spin whirl into a nice string
- tombstone bsos, blurry drifter (one string)
- janiwalker bsos, blurry whirl bsos, ps whirl (one string)
- blurry whirl>stepping ss whirl repeat, janiwalker (one string)

hopefully my sessions will start having better lines.

ok. a little bit of recap

this easter break i went to Noirthcaorlina to see my grandma and stuff. 10 hour drive sucked. anyway, i stitched a bag and played footbag. here are the really slim highlights from shredding on her slanted ass driveway.

-janiwalker>janiwalker
-sunil walker>ps whirl both sides
-tombstone>tombstone again
-gyro dlo and flurry midstring (same string)
-blurry drifter>ps whirl midstring, which isnt hard, i just never do it

anyway, i came home and i find this moir video thats frikken sick. and it makes me realize how repetitive and shit my game is. i know a lot of people have told me that i mix it up enough, but i dont htink i do at all. like look at jorden, every line is so different. but really, thats not becuase of difficulty most of the time, its cuz of his use of unused tricks. quantum op osis, who does that? no one. it made me realize i have a lot of tricks that i just never use but are mad consistant. i can hit toe blur 4/5. do i ever do it midstring? no. i can hit bubba beater over and over, but i dont do it in strings. so this leads to:

david having more variety!
heres what i should skool:
-blenders
-dynos
-quantum tricks
-swirls
-more cool furious stuff
-maybe more guay junk.

idk, i just feel like i do the same stuff over and over. like... blender>drifter>pdx. blender. that is phat and easy, but i never do it. so i have to start thinking of this stuff and throwing it. double pickup>ss toe whirl, thats good stuff! ugh. i just wish i could stop after every contact and say "dave, you can hit atomic osis, do it instead of parkwalk". not saying im like some hugly consistant person on weird tricks, i just dont use what i have. so, today i will try to.

NOW your going to be better than all of us. I remember once when you didn't think you wanted to work on some stuff, but I knew you'd open up all the way once your shuffle got phat. I can't wait to see what is in store for us all 2 months from now from you.

ever since jorden starting posting those videos part of me feels stupid posting my stuff. is anyone else like this? cuz everything i just listed he could probably do like, first try, and it just kinda takes away from my satisfaction. i know its not about like, people being better then you, i dont know why i feel like that sometimes. with vasek, it didnt matter cuz he didnt seem like, even realtive or real, but ive met jorden like 3 times and talk to him a fair bit, and its just amazing how someone who is only one year older then me is that good. so when i hit like, flurry bsos, i just think of him in that CP video hitting stepping floating whirl or whatever out of it and it kinda doesnt even seem big anymore.

eh, whatever, im just being stupid.

I know how you feel david, but this stuff you've posted is really impressive, regardless of how jorden plays.

Sure relitively speaking, everyones shit is garbage, but you just have to learn that now Jorden is fucking insane he is also not real. Like Vasek.

Anyway, I think you being so critical of your game is what has gotten you this far anyway.

your shred is insane. Your improvement since worlds is incredible. If you want it bad enough, and I believe you do, you will be as good as jorden someday. Hell I remember the first time I shredded with jorden and he was having trouble with eggbeater which I at the time I thought was impossible. With the speed that you are progressing I dont think it will be long till you are the player that everyone is talking about. You know you have mad skillz so dont worry about everyone else. But if you still want to compare yourself to people, compare yourself to me

that should make you feel better.

Yo Dave, what matters is that you`re laying down nasty-ass combos and tricks, and have fun doing so. It`s OK to let other people`s games inspire you, even push you, but don`t ever let it cut into your enjoyment. Be very careful in this respect.
