Puhh finally modified is back :) But taking time off wasn't that bad. Anyway Bea and I played outside a small local sports stadium. The weather was nice and it turned out to be a great session!

Bea did a 12 contac run with ss Butterfly bsos, Illiusion bsos and Dimwalk. And a lot more good things + she hit Swirl 8O
It looked sooo cool :)

I skipped my usual warming up for ever, doing every concept and got right into runs after maybe 10 minutes of light kicking and tiltless warming up. That worked out quite well. And I will countinue this way.
The hightlights were Drifter bsos, Ripwalk > Drifter and some decent runs. One 17 contact with only one guilt.

So long

Loaction: The gym
Players: Bea, Phillip, Daryl and I :)

We had slight difficulties, cause Bea forgot her Lavers at home  :D
But she called me when I was just changing train, so I went back and got the shoes. Then, with one hour delay we kicked a bit outside the gym in the sun. The others found a very small 4-square field ;) After that we went in to shred. Everyone was doing good!
Daryl hit so nice 12-15 contact strings. Shred Master D aka Malcom Dex was soo close to Ducking Mirage midrun! And he showed me that he can do Butterfly > Butterfly :)

Phillip hit his first Mirage (I think he even hit hit on the other side too!)

Beatrice was back on fire again with a a number of cool runs about 13 - 15 contacts. Doing Illiusions bsos, lot's of pixie tricks and Infinities midrun and I think there was even one Osis midrun. If she keeps playing that way she will have her Clipper based basics down very soon (her Toes are already good ;)) And she hit Pdx Illiusion on both sides that day, it looked clean and she tried the trick midrun and managed to hit it at least on one side.

I didn't hit any new trick, but some combos I really liked. Although I was clos to Pixie Drifter I didn't push for that trick, maybe I hit it next time :)
I started one run with Toe Drifter > Drifter and one with Spinning Clipper. Using Drifters midrun is so much fun! And even Dimwalk:twisted: came easy to me yesterday. My stepping wasn't good, but it was enough for a Ripwalk and Blur midrun.
Looking forward for the next session!!!

Yeeah !

Back from the dead and ready to shred ! Man, these 2 weeks of absence
where the hardest weeks in my footbag life :x i mean, i was so freaked
out by the things and peeps, i ve seen at todexon, and i couldnt use
that huge source of inspiration since last monday.

I'm still not back in full swing, so i took it very easy, kicking for one
our, with some basics and fun tricks thrown in.
Like that i found out, that also my kicks and spins are fairly equal
at both sides - no more "problems" with left inside and right outside
kick -, and that street tricks are mad fun 8)

The shred was good, everybody seems to go for runs rather than
drills these days, and i think thats a good thing - we all have been
quite diciplined and work orientated this winter, and now its
seems like we re having a bit of an experimenting/displaying
type phase.

Max already handled most of mondays content, but i gotta add
some small things, like how fun it is to suggest some links to somebody,
all the cheering and suspense, and the great pleasure, mixed with
astonishment, when stuff gets hit :D ...Max, wanna try
dlo>dimwalk>dlo ? a few secs later, bamm, its there ! good stuff :D

My shred faculties arent fully intact yet, but i was satisfied nevertheless,
just by being able to play again ; it will take a couple of days to get
back to old form, and since i cant jump around to much i will focus
on clippers, bop'S and spins.

And dont you worry about ducking mirages in mid combo, i ve
hit buttloads of em at our last session at the gym, once ive hit
diving mir and ducking mir in one run from different sides,
but keep them clipper challenges coming

Btw , Bea you rule and Angrod, we all wait for mirage bsos

Bjoern and Markus, y'all betta heal up, GanstaZ !

peace

Just came home from a week in Loerrach/Freiburg. Had a lot of circle
kicking going :) Couldn't resist and hit Ducking Clipper>Ripwalk in
baggy pants and on grass :)

Will see doc soon.

Mike sent me the sunday shred tape from Todexon via mail, I hope
to cut it up tomorrow.

Stimmt doch gar nich, es gibt nix anderes mehr zur Zeit :D

They should rename my street to Bag End", if i was a hobbit
and if it wouldnt have that evil token taste to it !

I play in the morning, waiting for the bus that takes me rather
straight to corporate hell.
I play in my breaks that changed from lucky strike commercials
to pixie fanatism, i play footbag everywhere and all the time,
its mind altering and saunatastic, i ache and sweat all the time.

Its so kool when i miss a bus and i'm obliged to wait for twenty
minuits, just means better clippers and a constantly increasing
of alternating ss mirages.
Today at lunch break i hit same side mirage>mirage> ss clipper>
gyro toe>butterfly on bothsides, butter>infinity and a couple
of flip smears.

My way of practicing changed a lot, compared to all the drilling
obsession in the last coupla months.
Now i always start out really easy, with a combination of various
kicks and uncommon one adders . It feels good to experiment
with symposium inside kicks, spinning kicks and spinning
flying clippers. Like that i can also clear up old weaknesses like
flip spins and right outside kicks and in the middle of doing this
i bust out in a low level toe frenzy and so on.

Aaah, playing footbag is so good to me these days, i just
had to fon the Hunters after work for a little shreddy shred.

Bea was in, and we meet at their house and went to the
underground nearby to kick some bag.
It was so wicked, from kicking to toe dexing to doubles to
single element practice ( swirling...pssst on its wa..pssst).

Doubles are fun ! At the end we came close to our old toe rec,
a meager eight, and next time, we should also try some
synchronized combos, shredding next to eachother.

I hit 16 + consecutive clippers on my flip .

playing everywhere takes my game on a nu level, i hit ss illusion
the first time, on my flip, in pants, travelling from one job to the next.
finally my moves beginn to be nice and controlled, clippers are flowing
and dexes becoming economical, na i mean .

after 18 hrs of working my 2 jobs, i footed flip blur, waiting for my train.
my left gains power over my right side, god i wish that my legs were
politics...life is good...its my 28 birthday today and it will be marvellous .

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :Daryl

11. April 2005

Monday Gym Session.

Players:
Daryl
Bea
Max
Bjoern

My Ilja Bag arrived on friday and its breaking in nicely.

Although I'm supposed to be injured (knee and calf), especially after
having serious problems with my knees during normal activities I'm
suprised I could play at all. It seem that my playing abilities vary more
than a pregnant woman's mood swings.

The session was GREAT! Here's what I hit:

Smear bsos (finally)
Diving Clipper bsos
BOP's getting more solid, felt good today.
Zulu Clipper>Ducking Clipper>Weaving Clipper
Zulu Clipper>Zulu Clipper (finally! but not sealed yet)
Ducking Clip>Ducking Clip>Ducking Clip>inside bail>osis>ducking clip>flip diving/weaving (not sure anymore) clip
5-7 consecutive ducking clippers several times
One more run with 9 contacts and 5-6 ducking clippers and diving clipper bsos

this was the most awesome ducking session ever!
I hit some more stuff, like ducking clipper>ducking mirage>pixie clipper>pdx mirage (first time pixie'ing out of a ducking move),
ducking clipper>ripwalk and ducking clipper>shmoe,
almost a pdx dlo midrun and and and. At the end I went for ducking
torque, but couldn't really hit it. I guess I have to get toe set torque
dialed before that.

It was good to shred that consistently. My knee behaved well, and even
though it hurts a bit when walking stairs, I've had worse after-shred
knee pains before.

I pass the mic to Daryl, who will tell you all about his mad session (Max
and Bea shredded hard too, but let them speak for themselves!)

I might be going to Podersdorf. Who's coming? Mike? Phil? Max? Bea?
