Madison, WI: Party in the Park, April 23

So this is a big free outdoor music festival put on by UW's student radio, WSUM (www.wsum.org) every year. Today, while kicking at library mall, a guy from WSUM approached us and asked us to put on a little demo on stage at some point during the event. This seems like a fantastic opportunity, so everyone in the area should come out for this. Although I'm not sure what the extent of our on-stage demonstration will be, we will undoubtedly have a big session the whole day, and if people are coming from out of town, then the whole weekend. Hopefully, more details will come in the near future, but I just wanted to get the word out ASAP. Mike Hansen and others having a jam in Davenport the weekend before, perhaps you are interested?

Alright so my plans

I am arriving at about 10:30 AM. If you can arrive early, please do

I am being picked up by my dad at around 4:00-4:30.

Please no bad substances. I mean, i dont mean to be a controlling dick but if my dad/mom arrives early and see people smoking stuff and shit they might not let me play with people or something. I dont know.

Is anyone showing up around 10:30-11? I will be there at 10:30.

The event starts at 11, so most people will show up around then. I'll probably get there at 10 or 10:30. This is going to be awesome. Everyone that can kick a bag in the Madison area should be coming out for this. Trail of Dead probably will play at around 6, when we're all done shredding, and Appleseed Cast is playing at Union South after dark at around 9.

actually i got nothing to do this weekend. my girfreind is out of town. the only thing is my vehicle is not relyable but i bet my dad is either a willing to drive me or b willing to swap cars.

I wonder if anyone else from chicago would like to come with me?
