dustin's combo was nice but there is far to much delay between each trick I should have voted for nate, nice combo man

Ditto what John said, these were more like single tricks as opposed to a string.

But yes, Dustin's combo was stronger on paper.

My problem with this particular faceoff, is that it was my first time seeing either of them play. So the fact that Dustin froze his first two tricks... I don`t know if he was freezing them to be styly, or freezing them because that was the easiest way for him to link the combo.

A little while ago Jane Zerbe released a vid of her playing with Kimi Bertrand. At the end of the video Jay-Z does a long string of `frozen` moves, which is really stylish. Because I`ve seen her play a million times, I knew she was doing the freezes on purpose, and with the goal of being styly. With Dustin, I wasn`t so sure.

I ended up voting for Dustin, just because I thought the freezes looked real styly, and I also thought the combo was stronger on paper. Also, I thought Nate`s duck could have been a bit deeper and pronounced, whereas Dustin had pretty textbook form on everything (except his right hand, but I heard he crippled it in a horrible industrial accident at the papermill, so he can be forgiven).

Dustin got my vote for this one. Regardless of the fact that he froze the string, those tricks are definitely more impressive in the great scheme of things. I know making his strings more fluid is something he's trying to work on so I'm not going to town with it.

Both were excellent, though.

arg, I thought maybe this horrible accident wouldn't matter so much in footbag, a sport in which only the lower half of my body is used. Allas, I see now that this horrible incident will follow me throughout the rest of my life.

I had to go with Nate on this one. Even if Dustin's freezes were for style, they didn't look like they were intentional to me. I watched it several times and that's how I felt each time.
