Get MSN

Post by mosher »

If you want to be connected to the footbag world you should download MSN.

If you only use AIM you are missing out BIG TIME because lots of players only use MSN.

add me to MSN if you want:

Or you could download Trillian and be on AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and IRC at the same time with only one program open.

If you already have screen names it'll let you enter them and it'll bring over the names from all of the buddy lists to be in just one list and you'll be able to talk to everyone at once. If not, it'll give you the links to create the screen names and then you enter them in Trillian. Easy as pie.

Or you could download GAIM and do the same thing except with a free, open-source program ;-]

Yeah, Gaim is pretty awesome. Get it. I talk to David Clavens on AIM and Mom Tosher on MSN AT THE SAME TIME.

...In the same window, nonetheless. They have a really cool feature where all your chat windows are stored inside the same window, so it doesn't fill up your toolbar. Awesome.

Tom, you make no sense to me.

What would prompt you to make such a shameless advertisment? I've got msn and Aim, and like them both for the most part. Msn's file transfer system is fucking retarded, but otherwise it's a pretty solid program. My only qualm with Aim was its incessant ads, and Aim Ad Hack makes short order of those.

They're both pretty good...sounds like you're making an unnecessarily biased statement, complete with a lack of grounds.

MSN just works the best of all the programs. It chats the most fluently and looks the prettiest.

I LOOOOVE MICROSOFT KISS KISS KISS

No but really, everyone get msn, it's really the best one.

Resistance is futile.. and annoying.

I have AIM but it sucks dick so I don't use it.

I don't use or endorse MS products or services. It doesn't matter that I can use MSN networks with GAIM, it's still an endorsement of MSN because you are providing traffic to the network and to people who use MS products.

The only person you're sticking it to is yourself.

All this acheives is you having less fun people to talk to.

I've been chatting online since 'talk' was the way to IM, and xtalk if you were lucky enough to have a graphical display. Quit trying to bullshit me like MSN brings anything to the IM arena that hasn't been seen and implemented in a better fashion elsewhere.

Personnaly I think the interface on MSN sucks ass, although I am a Microsoft user. I don't really care about how they do what they do, they do what is necessary to make the best product. Survival of the fittest.

AIM works for me, but i use MSN messenger when necessary.

Whoah! You can use Gmail with MSN? When the hell did that happen?

I can't figure out how. When I try to sign in with it it tells me I have an invalid user name....
