Old footbags thread

Post by mosher »

Post your old bags!

Tell a story about any bag you like if you wish.

Here are a bunch of mine, enjoy!

Image

Felix Zenger, bought at Chilly Philly 05.

Johnny Suderbag

The first 32 I ever stabbed.

Image

Felix Zenger (aka Trippin Sheboygan), bought at Worlds 2004.

Image

The 8th 32 I made.

Image

I made all but the right two.

That was actually accidentally metaphorical. The two bags on the right are Peewee (the Mr Sandbag) and my first ever hackysack.

So one represents my gateway to this world in general and then the other is the plunge into freestyle.

Some footbags.

Yeah, these are just bags that aren't necessarily brand new.

im so stoked about this sandman, because i had retired it when half of the sand leaked out. then i read a thread on here somewhere where people were talking about lightly filling old sandmans (sandmen?) with pellets. so i tried it, and its AWESOME. prolly gonna be my number one bag now.

My first footbag was a red/white/blue hackey sack that looked kind of like a twisted. I don't have a picture of it because my friend drove over it with a car and it exploded everywhere. My next footbag was the same kind but in a black/blue color combo. I still use it sometimes when there's puddles/snow around.

Image

My first "freestyle" bag is the 32 panel dirty juice facile. I don't play with it much because unfortunately, it still hasn't broken in. The two mr. sandbags flying wing to the 32 were my first and favorite. Both have been passed onto other freestylers. The sipa bags up top I sometimes use for juggling.

I'M GETTING A TOM MOSHER BAG SOON! :D

Old footbags, ah the memories...

Image
^^my first 32. Abshire mini. got it sometime in 2003.

Image
^^Carol bag. I believe Matt Cross now has this footbag. Unfortunately, it only lasted him a week before dying :?

Image
^^Felix bag. I got this bag from Felix at Worlds. Hoffa now owns this Felix bag i think its his choice bag.

Image
^^Carol bag.

Image
^^Lonn bag. This bag was soooooo incredibly sweet. She is now retired and just sits on my shelf.

Image
^^My first 32 I made. I used ultrasuede not ultrasuede light i think thats why it turned out kinda shitty. Casey Panyk helped me stitch this bag. "Donatello" was its name :)

Image
^^Red/white Abshire. I got that footbag from Rob Johnson, played with it for a couple months then sold it (i didnt like it) to Chris Hanratty who loved it!!

This was my first bag. I got it late 2003. It is my favourite bag. It is a Kirra Sands bag. It performs better than any Aurora I have ever played with. It is durable. It has outlived the aurora I bought. It is all I play with. until the FT mini comes... :P
