Someone please tell me that an email address is not used as the log in information for MSN . . .

Just another way MS helps spread spam, by forcing people to spread plain text email addresses.

Give away the messenger client, sell the email addresses.

Well, when i switched to my gmail name, I didn't just enter it in or anything. I had to go to http://www.msn.com and figure out how to register that email adress or something like that. Once I went and did that, everything worked out alright, and it was good to go and valid.

I don't really feel like going through the trouble of switching screen names now. I've used the same ones for years and they're all customized to perfection, so I'll just leave them be.
