Too true, too true. The lawyer (owner) came in this morning and was talking about how much she liked some skirt suit so much. She told me to stop what I was doing (preping cases for tomorrow) and find her the exact same suit on the net. Looks like I'm not getting much work done today! :D

There are days when I'm sitting around just waiting for something to do.
Then there are days when I'm the only assistant working and EVERYTHING happens at the same time: walk-in emergency patient whom we have no time to see cuz we're an hour late, 2 different patients on the phone simutaneously trying to make appointments, one dickhead trying to sell crap merchandise to patients in the waiting room after I've told him that no soliciting is allowed in the office, the Dr's kids are yelling, screaming and killing each other and the doctor is in dire need of every instrument that begins with the lettter 'T' right away.

Thankfully, today is not one of those days.

Oh yeah, I got tipped the other day! Who the hell tips dental assistants? :D Not that I'm complaining about it.

Sweeeet. Me too.

I got sooooooo much shit to do today, but typing letters telling the clients what happened in court is insanely boring. I wish today was friday.

Okay, my main probalem of the day is this lady that got a DWI and the attorney is getting her a limited licence. This lady has called at least 15 times. She called first thing this morning (like 8:30ish, before court even starts) to ask if the judge had approved it. Come the fuck on lady! Court hadn't even started yet! I told her to call back at around 2 or 2:30 and still she calls like twice an hour. Every time she calls she asks what a good time to call back is and I say 2 or 2:30. I've asked her if she wants me to just call her when Dawn gets back but she says "no, I'll call back." WTF!!!! I can't wait till 5:30. I'm gonna go home, school my weak side, drink a duece, take a shower, and drink four more dueces and hopefully burn one. Come on 5:30......

Damn. Good luck on getting all your demands.

That is pretty fucked up.

And now back to my day.

Okay, the attorney dropped of the limited driving permit at about 2:00. Now that I actually have the paper the lady needs, do you think she's called? If you answered no, then you are correct my friends. By my clock it's 3:39. I told her, who knows how many times, to call back at 2 or 2:30, right? She called a bajillion times earlier to bug the shit outa me when I didn't have it, but now that I've had it for going on two hours she decides to leave me alone. WTF!!! I think she knows I have it and she just likes fuckin with me. Ooooohhhhhhh, T minus one hour and 45 minutes left to go................

we rallied about a thousand people to the front lines.
The chancelor came out of hiding when the group surrounded the restautant he was dining in with other uppidyuppies.

All the major streets shut down for about two hours, which if you know berkeley means massive havoc.

The police showed up, but they some had union banners and shirts on, and were very professional in directing traffic without disrupting the strike.

Negotiations resume next week.
