Today, the footbag gods thought it was the right time to cash in my drill dicipline pay back card, and this is, how i was rewarded :

smear bsos ( twice at work, 3 times in the gym )

19 consecutive clippers 8)

16 contacts of same side clipper>mirage rpt

5 alternating clipper ; when i had the right rhythm, it felt kinda
effortless, but the rest was hunching, and five
is not a record one should keep 4 2 long.

butterfly>f. leg over>ss mirage, both sides

illusion>ss clip>mirage, back to back

clip>pdx mirage>symposium mirage

illusion>symp. mir>butter

ducking mirage>butter

ASSASIN :!: finally ! what a piece of work...footed at least a bazillion
times over the last aeons, and today, i tracked 'im down . satisfaction .

ParkWalk : a new, weird feeling. i hit it twice, thank god, that i have
a left leg

CLIP SET DUCKING CLIPPERS !!!
Hell yeah, this goes out to you Charles !
REmember our talk in Praha about how much nicer clipper ducking is,
compared to toe ?
Shit, i was as sure as a bat at night, that it will take a good ol'l while,
till any of my clippers would be strong enuff 4 that.
Andtoday they came to me, totally out of the blue ;
i was drilling flip clippers, and saw my set was fairly high and
controlled, and inspired by Bjoern, i just gave it a go and
ducked the bag straightaway.
After some more attempts, the stall was there too, and it was
such a funny feeling, especially because my flip clipper
turned into my strong one that session. I hit a few more
and later that session, i hit 2 ducking clippers on my strong side
:D

Bea and me also played doubles for a bit before she left,
and also there progress and joy were shining thru !

Unfortunatly, that trouble maker of a right thigh had this subtle
feeling of discomfort lingering about him, so i couldnt go into
any runs, but that was all that sucked that session !

It seemed that everybody was doing well in hitting nice stuff and
in having a good time, it was a fantastic shred !
Wow, i'm darned curious to see what happens next :)

Had another quick shred at work, and i hit parkwalk and ducking
mirage to butterly again :)

It was a good day for butter>pdx mirage, and flip did better
than strong...what new devilry is this...? Am i changing sides  ?

I also came close to spinning clipper and ducking butterfly, but for
the time being i'll only try to get the first of these moves down ;
butterlies/infinities need a lot of attention, before i can effortlessly
duck em...

Tomorrow i dont have to waste my time at Foot Locker = SHREDMANIA...weee !

BTW, i send my postcard to 3 modifiers yesterday...

Yo, after the meeting i had at my future school, i was so excited
because everything went so well, i just needed to have a quick
shred to relief myself from all the adrenalyn !

I kicked at a place with blossoming cherry trees, when this
unemployed guy in full soldier gear steps up to me, asking
if he could join ! i was kinda stoked, he got out of these heavy
boots he was wearin in that kinda weather, and since i was
working on butter>pdx mir anyway, i wanted to try it one
last time before i circle with this guy ; and it hit beautifully
and back to back :D yeah 3>3>3>3 baily, but sweet !
Later on i hit plo bsos, smudge, dimwalk and parkwalk...
not in one run though...

Me and the Hunters meet up in 20 min, so expect more news 2nite !

Best outdoor session this year so far!!! :)
Bea, Daryl and me just finished shreding at a bus station clos to our place. The surface and lightning there were great =) Just how I like it, and don't we all love to play in public ? ;)
Ma achievments: Clipper Set Drifter > Clipper Set Drifter :P
A 16 contact run with only 2 guilts. Clipper Set Drifter midrun > Osis > Osis > Butterfly At first I was afraid that my knee would hurt... but right now (15 minutes after playing) it feels like the shred healed my knee. Ok I didn't do a single Whirl today...

Bea and Daryl were als on fire. Bea did a great run with a mirage "up the sidewalk" :P so cool And Dary did a lot of nice runs with difficult stuff bsos. But he will write for himself!

FOOTBAG

Edit: I hit Atomsmasher midrun that session :)

Wow, another dramatic session !

Adventurous outdoor, sunset, bare chested, bag infested
bus stop shred guerilla action, rrrrrrrrr !

I knew it would be a monster shred when Max said : Woa, jetzt
hab ich so richtig bock auf ne session " with that half cheeky
and fully confident tone to it.

Bea, Max and me went to a regular spot of theirs, right at the
exit of an outdoor swimming pool area ( schwimmbad, ha ha ! ).
It was a fun warm up, kool circle kicking, with sym. insides and
outsides, spinning kicks and pinching .

After circling, everybody devoted themselves to some concepts,
not for to long though, plus Bea and me played some doubles.

All this took half an hour and i hit 12 same side mirages twice,
and illusion> ss mirage b2b from both toes.
When it got darker, we went to a big bus station near by,
with nice illumination and a lotta wild stares :P

As Max said, everybody was on fire ; Max legbeaters looked so
smoove and controlled, 16 infinities, nice osii and drifters .

But the best things about his game are his creativity,
the nomerous concepts this guy masters and the mean
links he comes up with .

One run was only illusions, for example : illusion , pdx illusion,
stepping pdx illusion ( or was that on monday),smudge ect.

Then he did the same with pixie stuff, or butters, sides, rips and so on.
There were some long, powerful strings with all kindsa concepts
combined, nice dlo's, dimwalks, ducking clippers mixed with the above.

Bea played so well too : long runs, hard links and perfect form !
dimwalk>pdx mir bsos, magellan>plo bsos, nice same side butters
and one fifteen contact run with wicked parkwalks, illusions bsos,
butterfly bsos, pixie stuff, pdx mirage and flipside osis ! ending
in a mirage up a 7 inch curb 8O
There were more great runs of hers, all nice and controlled. Props !

Commercial Break :

This was the best footbag i played so far, it was a day for
bsosness and intensity ; and it was the first time, where
i could just shred it up, without drilling for ages and s what i hit :

spinning ducking toe
clipper >clipper
pdx mirage bsos
butterfly bsos
plo bsos
ducking clipper bsos
symp mirage bsos
smear bsos
pixie illusion, plo and smear in one run :!:
pixie same clip>pdxmirage>run
dimwalk>pdx mir>run
ducking mirage and plo midrun

All this stuff was mid combo, runs were between 8 and 13 contacts,
mostly tiltless, with an average of 3 3's thrown in.

pixie illusion, ducking clipper and smear midrun 8O :D

i've never hit smudge mid combo before, and when i hit
it tonite, outta the blue, in a run that was nice anyway,
i felt like Bruce Lee on coke !
Blast !

At the end of this kick ass shred i hit reverse swirl to hand catch
for the first time :D

What a day ! God, send me dancers...

No problem, I'm always late since my lessons end not until our training starts. Today I'm gonna chip a tree that was recently choped down at a friends house. That will be a nice cross training + after sitting in class all week, the tree is a good alternation :P

alternating trees ? you really go BIG these days, sun

for my part, i shall go g-unit ! for a flatfeet mofo like me its probably
the best choice - nice cushioning and perfect insides ( yes, they kick
any lavers ass anyday) the only tuff part will be the modding .

Anyway they gave me confidence to try out whirls again, which i
havent worked on since xmas. A buddy of mine watched their
cleanliness, and i heard the word "the" not 2 often...pheew

Later that sess i hit butterfly>whirl 8) , flip plo> butter, smear>butter,
and, peep dis :
smear>butter>whirl !!! 8O :) :D
My third 3>3>3, as one sided as it may be !

God, i'm so happy with spring, life and footbag at the moment, and
i cant wait till next week when Max and Fifty clear up my whirls

Yo Daryl, do you have them G-Units at yer store? I might buy a pair.
I played with Max Kerkhoffs G-Units at Todexon and it felt a bit strange
because I'm so used with the Lavers so much. Max said the cushioning
is not THAT much better, but it's a slight improvement nonetheless.
About the modding: He cut out the outer material (leather? canvas? dunno)
instead of the inner canvas. How much are those babies?

Philipp will probably join us on monday. Max can you bring the photo
camera with you on monday? And if you manage to get the raw
munich footbag files you have on cd in dvd format I could start making
the DVD...

Bjoern do you have the same shoe size as me? I also like to try the g-units. I'm afraid my Lavers will fall apart some day :) He Bjoern I found footage from our very first session! He let's shred tomorrow evening everybody.

Servus Collegas!!!

Philip, Jürgen and I had a great Dult-Footgab-Sassion yesterday. The weather was optimally to play and we had a nice location not far away from the beer tent.
Michi (the little brother of Philip) was the man for the camera.
It was great to see so many people standing around of us watching our game. For me was it an extra motivation.

O.K. now the news from LA:

Philip hit some very nice combos: swirl>rev.whirl>symp.rev.whirl, rev.whirl>whirl and rev.whirl>symp.whirl
He is getting better and better in doing whirl tricks in every combination.
He also tried nuclear butterfly and man he is not far away to hit that trick.

Jürgen (he was at the GFM in Hamburg with us) made the biggest steps forward: whirl bsos, pixie rake and symp.rev. whirl (all the stuff for the first time)

unfortunately I don´t remember any runs of them.

For me it was a great day too. I hit atomic ss clip and atom smasher (for the first time)
Also I sealed fudge and fear for the camera. It´s nice to practice on new sets but unfortunately I can´t do them midrun.

O.K. that´s all and now up to MUNICH to meet Daryl and Bjoern!! I´m looking forward to see you guys.

Best wishes to all of the crew!!!!!

Big Prpops guys :D sounds like you had a wicked session !

Yesterday i worked at footlocker, and later on i did a 10 hr shift at
the club i'm doin security jobs for.
After 1 hr of pseudo sleep, i was back again in the world of shoes and mislead teenagers .
I had a tuff, but fun time there and because ikinda wasnt feeling myself
anymore ( plus the usual boredom, stress, general overworkedness...),
i was really zen with the customers ; kinda like the guy in fight club,
sans the agression :D

I saved enuff power for a break shred and i hit my first cupla
flip ducking mirages ! Yeah, world thou cant kill me :D

I try to rest up now after being awake since 37 hrs, of which
33 hrs was working or going to the job, because i wanna party
like its 1999 in a few profound hours. See yall later .

18 April 2005
Players: Beatrice, Daryl and Max
Location: Westfriedhof Metro Station

The metro station is about 8 walking minutes away from our place so I led Daryl my old skateboard, Bea took here Kickboard and I my Longboard so we all three rolled in together :D

Beatrice played as good as never before! At least 8-10 runs with a minimum of 13 to 16 contacts. One run was especially remarkable; with Buterfly > Butterfly, 3 x Dimwalk, Parkwalk, SS Butterfly bs. We forgot to count but that run was 20+ contacts :) Her game looked really controled.

Hmm Daryl will write for his own stuff ;) And I did hit any noteable, a coupe of good runs, wich made me happy. And I was so close to Tapping DLO. Maybe tomorrow on both sides
