So I played for about 45 minutes again, on and off as I was talking to my sister. I just did some basic shuffle training, and tried some of davids requests.

PS Whirl > PS Whirl > PS Whirl (done)
PS Whirl > Dyno (done)
Janiwalker > PS Whirl (first try)
Blurry Drifter > Paradox Torque > Paradox Blender (done)
Scorpion's Tail (X2 footed 3. I really suck at these and I was surprised I could link 2!)

And I hit nemesis first try. Meh.

Sleep...

Yo Johnny.

I was just looking at the inside pic of the bag you made, and I was wondering something. I noticed that your pent sides and hex sides are the same length. Have you ever tried using a pattern with hex sides bigger than pent sides? I find that it helps keep the filler in, but allows you to remove fill just as easily.

Just a thought. :)

Long time no blog. Thanks for the props guys.

I've been playing quite a bit more than usual, and for the first time in about a year, I've actually felt myself progress! It's an awesome feeling that I completely forgot about. This is some stuff from my last couple of sessions.

- Janiwalker > Fog [first attempt]
- Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > Blurriest > PS Whirl > PS Whirl
- Rubberman II > Run > Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl
- Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl > PS Whirl
- Blurry Whirl X5
- Matador > Blurry Whirl [rpt]
- Matador > Sumo > Reactor [bs]
- Fairy Paradon [bsos, midrun]
- Ripped > Scorpion's Tail
- Alpine Matador [bsos] + Blurry Whirl [bsos]
- Blurry Whirl > Sumo [bsos]
- Matador > Nuclear SS Butterfly [rpt]
- Barfry > Tombstone [bsos]
- Vortex [bsos] + Mobius
- Vortex > Far Swirl
- Double Pickup > Paradon [rpt]
- Barfly X6
- Matador > Blurry Whirl [rpt] > PS Whirl
- Triage
- Double Pickup > Swirl [bs]
- PS Eggbeater

I can finally flip nuke without my knee popping, and I'm loving it. I've made a bunch of progression in my lower-add game, which I guess is what really matters.

These two combos impressed me the most. The second one is especially styly.

I had a quick session today, and then proceeded to waste the rest of the afternoon editing and uploading this. I'll work more on editing later...

I yousendit-ed this to Dave, so I figured I post the link for you guys out there to use up the rest of the downloads, since it's a lot faster than the .org link and stuff.

Many crappy sessions later, I have nothing to report, and nothing to make a video out of. Watching Jorden's videos before I play are a bad idea, because they remind me of how homogenized my game is. I'm thinking about making a compilation video that is 30 minutes long of nothing but drops, bails, and the'd moves. I'll watch it before every session and then feel proud that I can hit a toe stall.

I guess it hasn't been all THAT bad. I've hit some new links and stuff, I'm just not feeling it I suppose. Lately I've been sweating SOOOO much, and I don't know why. The humidity perhaps? Maybe its because I've been drinking 3+ litres of water a day, when I usually only have a cup or two. I can wring my shorts out after sessions, and I'm frightened. :S

I haven't washed my footbag in ages. It is extremely dirty, and sweaty, and smells of McDonalds Hamburger. I think I'll wash it soon, before it smells like Butyric Acid.

I really can't wait until Ottawa, and the ToFu jam. Its been soo long since I've had fun playing footbag, and I don't even know if that bothers me anymore.

Edit: I'll go have a session and see how things go. Will report!
