I have changed my mind on this mod...its not necessary.
I just got a new pair of Lavers and my ankle can bend perfectly fine with out the Broka mod. I toatally recomend the canvas mods but this one does not do it for me any more. And it can tear your shoes up...

Just stitch it up along the cut edge and it won't frey or run.

Ok...maybe it wont tear your shoes up...that bad...but I dont need the Brocka. I have tried it with and with out and I wont do it again.

i think if you dont know whether you should do it or not?

just do it.
after you shoes will be:
lighter (barely, but barely is still some)
more flexible
and like mosher said once you sew it up it wont fray or anything
so realy all you doing is.. making it lighter and making your clippers better.
i dont thinki theres anything negative. i think.

it's all subjective. My ankles protrude out quite a bit and that part of the laver just rubs it raw. I cut it out and I can wear lavers without that painful rubbing blistery bloodiness that everyone has experienced with at least one pair of shoes that they have at least tried on

I recently changed back to my old lavers and made the broka on them larger by taking out the first eyelite. I have noticed an improvement in my game and now plan to continue this mod on my next pair of lavers.

VERY HELPFUL MODIFICATION.

CLIPPER CRANK IS WAY BETTER.

I am going to try it on an older pair right now. I've done similar modifications and they helped a lot.

i just did this mod. it pretty good i think, i can feel a small difference. the biggest thing is it make your shoe really loose on your feet. i had to tighten them. but i can still slide in , slide out.

I just did this mod too, and i can crank way more! It seems like before the cut out part sorta restricted me from cranking more, but i dunno it just feels way better!

I would like to do this mod, I'm even not wrried about destroying my lavers, I know that I will not, because I can mod everything without any ruin. But my parents, especially my mum, will be so angry at me... I don't know it it's worth to risk.
I'm sure it'll help me, because RL's are too tight in akles for me. An I noticed that with lavers I can crank less than in other shoes. And I feel the part, which is to cut, on my ankle when cranking.

Eh... So fucking dilemma.

Maybe they aren't against moding shoes, but they're against cuting shoes, that costs pretty expensive, when ordering from USA to Poland

1) The good ol' normal ones

2) I cut the sharp corners off...so no prob there.
