Shercle Family is happy to present its second annual event, Shercle Session #2.
In April 2004, something spectacular happened in RadissonSAS Tallinn. In the hotel's top floor conference hall, more than 20 footbaggers from Estonia, Finland and Denmark sharpened their blades for the season, enjoying the exclusive atmosphere the penthouse has to offer. Now it is time for a sequal. Come enjoy an outstanding experience during Shercle Session #2 on April 16th in Tallinn, Estonia. The 24th floor conference hall with a million euro view will be ours for the whole day, followed by 2 hours of total relaxation in the hotel's sauna. Followed by.. anything

This is a pure chill-out event dedicated to shredders and their closest buddies only.

The hotel is giving us the conference hall free of charge because they dig us and our cool little sport (can you believe that

). But to paraphrase a known proverb, with great opportunities comes great responsebility. In this case it means that we will not be allowed to consume our own beverages nor food in the conference hall. Not to mention that we'll have to behave at our best. However, drinking water will be supplied by the hotel and there are plenty of affordable cafes around the town to get yourself a healthy meal during the day.

You need to know how to get to the event site? Look for the highest skyscraper (among the few;)) in the very heart of town and you will be there. But feel also free to check out the hotel's website:

Last year we managed to put up every single participant by footbaggers and their friends. Crash space is sought for as we speak, but we'll also compose a list of reasonable places to stay. All in all, accomodation should not stop anyone from coming over.

The participation fee for the event is set at 10€ (150 EEK), which includes shredding, sauna with suprises and we are looking into getting free entrance to a club event during the weekend.

As to travel information, there is an international airport in Tallinn. EasyJet flied here from Berlin and the affordable Estonian Air from several places in Germany, as well as Copenhagen. Write us for more information!

Know that Estonia is a place where prices that are more than reasonable. The night life is intense. And the shred is Grrrreat. Check out http://www.tallinn.info and http://www.visitestonia.com if you doubt my words. And to quote the World Champ who was on a visit in October 2004: "Well.. as I see it, Tallinn is the best of Prague." I'll let you make your own conclusions from that...

Howdy folks,

So we have some real' dandy news about SS2..

1. Super-Special Suprize Guest at SS2!
We have a veeeeery special surprise guest attending Shercle Session #2. He has asked us not to reveal his identity, so that we shall not. But to ignite your curiosity... he is a world class player, he is a very a cool guy, and he'll make the foundation of the Radisson SAS hotel shiver and shake. Yes Sir, we will boogie..

2. Free entrance after SS2 to a hip-hop event in one of the hottest clubs in town (http://www.clubprive.ee)!

We have closed a super sweet deal that all the attendants of SS2 will greatly benefit from. Namely, on April 15th (Friday) our suprize guest + a few other top players will hold a demo at Bad Jam in Club Hollywood. In return, the Estonian DJ and promotor Bad J has organized the participants free entrance to Club Privé after SS2 on April 16th. A cool r´n´b/hip-hop in one of Tallinn's best clubs is definetely something to be excited about, so that we are. And besides, the ticket money to the club alone equals our participation fee of 10€.. now what do you think of that?

3. News about accomodation during SS2
So after going through our network of friends, we have only found crash space for a limited amount of players. However, we have booked an appartment in the heart Tallinn, 5-minutes from the venue and almost anything else in town. There are 8 beds+linens for a more than reasonable price of 15€/2 nights/person. Shercle is actually paying 50% of the price!. And another 8 persons can be accomodated on the floor in the very same place for 5€ per night.. you surely get real value for your money

4. Guest/Spectators at SS2
Having the chance to hold such an event is a privilige and we can only do so thanks to the supporters of footbag in Estonia. To show respect to them all, we have sent out about 20 invitations to our sponsors and partners for the finals of the competition. So we'll pour the last 1,5 hours of the event into a show that we'll be hard to forget for anyone present.

- Finland (10+ players coming, including several BAPpers. Also, we're getting ready to party with our northern neighbours, especially Jussi and Pekka

- Lithuania (100% new country and 3 shredders have promised to show up)
- Russia (2 participants, including the event's only shredita Oxana Prikhodko)
- Home country of Super-Special Suprize Guest. Riddle me this, riddle me that...

That makes 22+ players.. and we are taking a maximum of 30 participants. You still have your chance..

Well hi again,

Ladies and gentlemen, this stuff is only getting better. Why? Well, listen up...

1. We now have a DJ for the event... Taavet from the Estonian Subnation crew will be spinning the neatest hip-hop vinyls for our enjoyment.

2. We've been propped by one of Estonias top dancers JJ, who will give us a glimpse of what electric boogie is all about. This will happen between the finals of SS2 and you can rest assured that it is a worthwhile experience.

3. And to add the final touch to SS2, we will be holding 1 minute 30 second routines at the event. We have chosen this format to encourage Intermediate level players to participate and, what is more important, to give room for Open level shredders experiment with high-difficulty routines. We hope to have a lot of players attending this one, and there's a BIG (and I really mean *BIG*) prize coming up for the winner of the event.

IMPORTANT!
Everybody who will be registering in the future:
Please add WHEN you are coming and leaving, i.e. for how long do you need accomodation. A portion of ppl will be staying at the appratment and it might happen we'll use the "lottery" method to decide who is staying where.
