This is a discussion about workplace relationships, but more along the lines of the thread title.
Ok, so I'm not actually dating my boss. She's actually more of a department manager, and I'm not dating/seeing her. I'm just curious if anyone has actually done that.
I wonder how weird it was at work to have a 'workplace relationship' for you.
Any stories?

I used to date the secretary at a temp office - that was just like dating my boss because she was the one that doled out the job assignments. It was pretty sweet because I'd always get first dibs on the good jobs (like working in the salvation army warehouse. that was sweet).
It actually worked pretty well, but i'm not sure it counts, because we were dating before she got the job. I'll tell you though, if you want to get your ass kicked on a job site, kiss your hot temp agency boss goodbye once you're there.
Anyway, there wasn't really any power-dynamic there, and we didn't have to see each other in the office, so this probably isn't that applicable - just thought I'd share the experience.
