New Hemp Bag

i just got my Hemp Bag, and it's very difficult to kick so far, i was wondering if there was any special way to break it in, considering i'm kind of new to breaking in new bags, i'm used to the mr. sandbag, which comes pretty much perfect. thanks for the help

You thought wrong...The sandman is actually quite durable and it needs no break in.

yeah, i wish i would have asked in here what kind of bag i should get, but i think i'm going to order a new one here within a week or so, depending on when my cousin decides on which one he wants to get, so should i go with another mr. sandbag, or should i think about getting anything else off of www.worldfootbag.com?

The Mr. Sandbag material is one of the LEAST durable materials. I am sure hemp lasts much much much much MUCH MUCH MUCH longer.

Get a Mr. Sandbag, as long as you dont scrape, ruin, etc it, it will be durable.

Henry is right - your hemp bag will last forever. You can drive cars over it if you like. (well probably - I take no responsibility if you try this and it breaks).

However it will also never be as soft and easy to play footbag with as the specific freestyle bags that most of the people on this forum use. If you want to get good at this sport, I suggest getting a handstitched 32 panel bag. Even though they have a very short life span compared with the hemp bag - they are much nicer to play with and your game will improve more, faster.

well, i'm not sure if this has anything to do with the hemp bag, but since i've gotten it, my consecutive record has been shattered.... it went from 112 to 153 (i know, not very much still but improvement) with my mr. sandbag.

I actually had a 12 panel hemp&sand bag that was pretty friggin sweet. If nothing else, it was an ideal bag to pull out in a circle of hackysackers, cause it was somewhat playable and could stand up to their abuse.

They take a LONG time to break in, but they occasionally turn out OK.

I wonder what happened to that thing?
