Sand or Pellet?

hey, i am a newly avid footbagger of novice skill. all ive been using are really shitty crocheted bags. im looking to purchase a decent bag but dont have a lot of cash. i was looking at the bags on www.footbag.ca and i think habit bags are probably best for me given skill level and price. but should i get the sand or pellet? i really dont know the difference because ive never used a sand filled bag before. any help would really be appreciated!!

I used knit bags up untill about three months ago (been kickin for eight years). Everybody told me to get a sandbag because it would be easier to learn tricks with. I used a knit bag the other day and found out that my stalls have gone to shit since I've been using a sandbag. I recommend getting a pellet bag. Sandbags make you lazy. I think if I had gotten a pellet bag I'd be doing fine. Everyone's gonna tell you it's personal preference though. Save the money and get a nice hand stiched bag from someone on our extensive lists of stitchers is what I say though.

Camel, I'm sure you don't know what I'm talking about, but I just listed three players who are among the worlds best who all use Mr. Sandbags on a regular basis. They obviously aren't lazy.

Mr. Sandbags are excelent freestyle bags at a very reasonable price. If you decide later that you want to spend $40 plus (Canadian) for a hand stitched bag, go for it, but for beginners not looking for a big investment, the MR is perfect.

I didn't mean it in a bad way. They really do make you "lazy" (I can think of a better word). I mean if you've been using a knit bag and then get a sandbag stalls are sooooooo easy, right? I could do all the basic stalls (inside, outside, toe) with a knit bag no problem before I got a sand bag. I used a knit bag the other day and I dropped the majority of my stalls for the first ten minutes (not really sure if it was ten minutes but I'm sure you know what I mean).

Hope that cleared up what I meant by "lazy". I meant no disrespect to all of our great shredders.

I actually like mixing the two...Like wee little BB's and sand...but on the bleed holes in the 32's sand sometimes leaks...soo it usually ends up just BB's and that is fine too

So I am a little above lazy...
