Footbag Templates Galore!

Post by FootbaggingCamel »

Yesterday i noticed there was a lack of good template threads, so i decided to throw this on, its got templates and instructions for nine different bags, and its pretty sweet. feel free to add on any other templates or sewing instructions you feel the world should know about. Enjoy, http://www.footbag.org/footbags/patterns/

I don't like the 32 panel templates they have there. :?

I think what is really needed is a good 32 panel tutorial.
Why are stitchers so tight-ass about sharing their techniques?

I suppose a good reason for that is to force people to find their own 'good' techniques. And it weeds out the people that don't care that much.

the dot org templates are hard to resize. I had to d/l that other program and do it all from there. The 32's come out too small as well.

I agree with Tom. I want a really good 32 panel tutorial and templates. Its not like some stitcher kid will be as good as a pro stitcher just by reading it. Share your secrets. Families shouldnt have secrets, and I consider modified a big huge footbag family.......group hug

I tell people all of my 'secrets' if they ask, however I think much is gained from trial-and-error as ones chosen path.

Hmm.. maybe I should make up a good 32 tutorial.

The only thing with that is that there are many 'correct' ways to make a bag. Also, I don't use a very conventional technique and thus I am not sure if I am the best to be emulating.

hmm. I just copied the pictures of the templates at .org and then resized them when I printed them - I found it pretty damn easy...
