Red and Noah (Sole Purpose Freestyle Represent)

Hey,

Here is some video showing off some of the Portland OR. freestyle posse. If you have already seen Fourkast though, you have seen this stuff. If you haven't seen Fourkast, enjoy. All of the combos are from 2004, we wanted to put this up before we show the more recent and updated stuff of the team. I also have a hidden agenda for tossing this up; we just launched the new Sole Purpose footbag website, and invite everyone to check it out!

Sweet site -- I love reading player profiles and clicking on the little photos!! Every time I watch the clips of you and Noah from that sidewalk I think I really want to see the Savanna shred from that day -- would it be possible to see some of that?? I've only seen one clip of her ever!!
I was sooo flattened by your bothsidedness from Fourkast, Red! keep it up

Plus I think you're really good looking. I never saw a close up picture of you until...like some silly head-bobbing from...Quietnite maybe? Something like that.

Terrific site Red!!! Just marvelous! Lots of pictures, lots of personality, all all the info someone might want to know who doesn't know the scene. Very much like I had my original website pictured, though it never got there. Can't wait to watch the clips. I'm sure they'll make me want the DVD even more. Can't wait to see the newer stuff too, that should be nice.

Way to represent Oregon! Hopefully I'll get to spend a day or two with you guys up there during the summer...

Exceptionally well put together Red. Great work and props to all those involved.

The first thing I noticed: "Greatings!" It's 2 e's, not ea.

Also, reading through the bios, it says Cameron Hayes plays with his friend Judy Hernandez...but then I went to the next one and it was RUDY.

He might get a bit peeved at that.

I love reading bios, especially with all that "Favorite Move, Favorite bag" stuff.

edit: Just watched Red's video. Great GREAT stuff. Huge strings, your double downs are so unique. In fact, your whole style is soooo....how you say...."in your face". I love it.

Moreover, Windowlicker is such an epic track, I remember getting so excited when Noah/Tu spun it at worlds'.

This is a reply to Erik,
Sadly I have to say Savanna no longer plays, (if she did, she would have been up on the website). When I first got to Portland, she was pretty into it, but it tapered off and for the last five months or so I don't think she has even touched a footbag. Savanna goes in and out of things, so I suspect she may return one day. It's alright though, we have a strong team now as it is, with a few other good freestylers in route to Portland in the next six months. My next thing is to get some shirts made up, and put up the most recent vid of the group. We may be hosting a tourney as well before the end of the year. All are welcome to come out the P-town and shred it up with us, we play literally all the time. Portland is a pretty nice place to chill out as well.

i thught I wasnt going to be able to watch these videos due to the .avi format s I just d/led 1 of em as a test. I was able to watch, which made be excited! SO, Im writing afer having watched Noah's vid. It was cool, he has very nice runs and some great single tricks and combos. Im d/ling red's part as we speak. Ill edit this post at that time. BTW, fairy ducking dlo! stepping diving dlo!! Noah has his dlos down pat!

Woot! Yeah red! When you showed me the site in Eugene it was good, but now it's amazing. I'm looking forward to shredding more so we can get my video up on the site, Jake's too. Our group is getting better, and in about a year it will be top notch with our new comers gettting better by the day. I hope that theis site also inspires some other of Portland's "Downtown Hackers" to get into the sport of footbag, or anyone else for that matter.

P.S. the stuff up there about me was very flattering, I can't wait until I can back taht talk up with my vid.
