California Tour--May 2005

Post by Tsiangkun »

I'll be out touring CA in may with my sister. . . anyone want to session ?

I'm almost certain to make it to San Diego, and LA. I'd be down for a santa cruz session if people still live there. I think Santa Barbara has at least one player. I think juan is in humbolt behind the tree, and lon is somewhere north of me. Ted is in the hills of LA.

I'm planning excursions to do shopping in LA, see some big trees up north, and probably a run to yosemite depending on the weather and such.

Lemme know if anyone wants to get in on the fun, I've got three seats available in the car.

I'm down for a session here in Santa Cruz. Matt Kain, Nate Maertens and I are the only freestylers in town that I know of but it would be rad to have a session here. It would have to be on a weekend so people could get off work. The Boardwalk would be a fun place to play in front of lot of people. If you'd want to set something up PM me.

I'll be in the LA area sometime towards the end of next week.

I'm not sure exactly when I'll be in various places yet. My sister arrives monday, and then sometime early next week I'll be packing the car for a drive down the coast from a wee bit north of San Francisco.
I'm thinking 2 maybe 3 days to get to LA. Looks like there are a lot of places to make camp in between.

Once we get there, I think we will try to stay in the LA area for a couple of days. I've never really explored LA, and courtney seems excited about this leg of the trip. Sam assures me there are campgrounds in LA, but I'm a wee bit skeptical, I'll have to do some browsing and see what I can find.

Depending on how long the LA part of the trip takes, weather and other factors, what happens after the LA leg of the trip is still up in the air.

Alrighty.

The weather forcasts is rain for as many days into the future as predicted, One flight was late, a connection was missed, and luggage was lost.

Some people would take this as an ominous warning, but as soon as they deliver this missing luggage, I'm packing up my gear and hitting the road Wednesday morning. Camping in the rain around big sur . . . Good times.
