Hey I was just thinking we should have a modified game!!

Someone else will have to set it up because I'm not geek enough

but I thought it would be awesome. Also I'm not very good, but it's fun to be a terrorist...

I'm good. I'm a big nerd. I'm extremely busy with school lately though so I'm going through some pretty bad withdrawal. Once/If school lets down then I'd be up for something!

I'm of course in, but why you rollin your eyes at me Asmus !? Sounds like fun, but we'll have to figure out a date and time, and remember that we'll have to agree to some sort of funky hour to play because we'll be playing from different countries like...Australia, Denmark, USA, etc. etc.

I'm free during the weekend, name a time and I'll figure out what it would be over here on East Coast time.

I've had a bash with Joe (I think it was) one night.
We had an issue with lagg, but still had a good game.

I'm 'NotHisRealName', but have never worked out how to use the friends thing to find other players.

But I'm keen.

Download Xfire, it's a messaging program that allows you to msg people in game without taking them out of the game, it's really sweet. You can also see what servers your friends are playing at, and check the status of server history and list your favorite servers. I'm sure there is more, but pretty much, if you play CS:S or any other online games, and want to play with other players such as modified, it's a good idea. I always sign on when I play. My account name is mahoody, msg me if you ever see me on.

We had lag cause we were on foreign servers. But i know how to mask my ping so people wont get pissed

Type cl_cmdrate 999999999999999999999999999999 into the console.

Sorry Henry, my mistake.

Anyone know about the friends option on CS:S? I can't get it to work.
And then there's the damage stats (eg, _______ did 99damage in 1 hit). I can play alright, but don't know all the little bs things in the game, and I'm sick of people telling me to hit f10. I know what f10 does, and that's NOT what I'm after!

I think that damage thing is a server mod... Most servers have it.

otherwise, I can't tell you.. I'm stuck in 1.6 myself
