Gloves?

Post by MaelstromEx »

Just curious how many people wear gloves when freestyling, i get ripped on for wearing bike gloves but they saved me once from a broken piece of glass while shredding. The padded palm makes a hard fall softer and the fingers are free to catch the footbag.

That is my opinion lets hear yours!

welcome to the board,

:D I have never heard of anyone wearing gloves when freestyling. You must be crazy awsome though if you have to wear protective gear.

What about helmets, knee pads...

But at least those gloves, along with those two sweatbands you wear, make you look like you're shredding in a post-apocalyptic world. Maybe you could also wear fangs and then you'd be a post-apocalyptic werewolf! :D that's be pretty sweet.

Ryan Mulroney wears gloves in a lot of (sick) footage in Champion's League. I think they look pretty cool, but I couldn't pull it off personally.

Lol do you really fall over that often?
Only times I have falled over are when I've rolled my ankles and that has happened 5 times in a year and a bit!

I think the obvious solution is, dont play near broken glass :p

I seem to fall over some when I'm freestyling, it helps me not to sprain an ankle I think. Like if my foot hit's the ground while still cranked instead of stepping on it I automaticaly just fall over so as not to hurt it. I don't think about it or anything, it just happens. Maybe only some people do it though....

Ryan Mulroney wore one white glove. It looked stupid.

I've worn Mittens to stay warm in the winter.

My hands always get cold when swinging them around in the air freestyling. I think in cold weather gloves are a good idea.

Gloves are pretty cool for shred. You would definately get bonus style points for wearing them.

I still don't see a REAL use for them...besides Lon's, and those are mittens...not gloves.

So maybe I overlooked it if someone has said a good reason to wear gloves but if not. Then might I request a reason. Cause right now it doesn't make any sense to me...

It's FOOTbag.
