Last Days - Jeremy O'Wheel and Dylan Fry

Post by Jeremy »

The low quality version - about 50 mb
http://www.footbag.org/media/639/dylan_jeremy.wmv

The high quality version - about 100 mb.
http://www.footbag.org/media/639/dylan_jeremy_hq.wmv

Running time - just under 14 minutes.

Last few days have been really hard for me owning to the Australian Footbag scene being turned against me by a vindictive little kid, so I lost a lot of motivation for this vid and rushed the second half. I still think it's definitly a worthy video to watch.

Oh yeah - I've now figured that ripcurl is stepping ss butterfly swirl - but I thought I'd put in that clip anyway :P

I had a fantastic time playing footbag with Dylan and with travelling with him for that matter - it would be great if there were more people in the world like him. Also he has some crazy good footbag skills. For every run in this video, there is a run just as good that I had to cut out...

edit: having just watched it again, I totally forgot one of the music credits

Thanks for posting footage! I always appreciate the energy people put into there videos.
I'm downloading it now and will post when I get to watch it. I'm sure it's sick though.

WOW! What a coool video!!

I really dug the themed move clips, especially the one with the toilet
and the police

Mmmh nice runs both of you. I really dig your styles, and it's nice to see
some longer footage of you Jeremy! Mad shuffle, and Sailing ***** ??? Woah.

What does your T-Shirt say, Jeremy?? I was a bit puzzled to see you
sporting the MacDonald's Sign...

Dylan's style is soo controlled and smooth. spinduckspinosismmmhh

thanks heaps!! :D

Lets just say the shirt goes very well with the third song - it's about mums... ;)

It was heaps of fun to shoot - especially going around finding those signs and stuff. The police girl was really cool too. She said she wasn't allowed to be filmed - but if we just "crept up behind her and hit our move, that would be fine" - obviously considering what the move was called it made it even funnier ;)

I'm actually going to make another shorter video which won't have any footage of Dylan and I playing footbag - but will have a couple of local players and some other cool stuff that we got on tape.

Not true, Jeremy. I sympathise with what you're going through, but the Australian scene has not turned against you. Be strong.

Will download the Hi Quality video tonight. I've not seen much of your shred - only what Jesse filmed and that was bugger all. Can't wait to see it.

First off, I liked that music. The RATM was sweet, cause I shred to that stuff daily and it's cool to see someone good kicking to it. Also, that Butterfingers song rocks, so I had to d/l it (sorry RIAA). Both of your styles are cool-- although I lean more toward Dylan's with all the clippers; Jeremy, yours looks too tiring to me. :? And that pigbeater by the police station-- that's classy 8) But when Dylan was kicking in that gymnasium, and you were making all those gestures in the background, and then tried to shove... something in your mouth, I literally broke out laughing! Distracting, but cool nonetheless. It's nice that you injected some of your personality into this video-- it really shines through. :D

Jeremy - you have cool hair and a cool style :) I really liked all the clips of you doing hard toe moves in random places. Pigbeater by the police station, lol hilarious.

Dylan - Nice facial piercing goin on lol, and a nice style to go with it, I must say I like Jeremy's a little more, but thats just personal pref. Some of your runs look like they are taken out of Vasek videos, lots of spinning and whirling and torqeing. I must say, that drifter run blew my socks off :) I love drifters.

I haven't been posting much on the forum these days, but I wanted to shoot out a thanks to you Jeremy for putting this video out. I really enjoyed it, and I finally got the chance to see more than two seconds of footage of you. I thought your stuff was really great in that vid. You have a style that reminds me of loren. Great stuff. Dylan looks smooth as always and seems to be pumping out even higher add stuff. Real fun to watch, I like both of your styles and they are both so different.

I read over your blog a bit and heard somewhat of the happenings going on. Sucks people are putting you down and stuff, thats no fun. In my opinion you have been one of the most helpful, encouraging, and thoughtful people on the forum. I hope you know that not everyone can be swayed by slander and other nonsense. Just keep shreddin and ignore the assholes in life.

I must comment also. This video gave me, finally, an understanding of why the both of you are so good. I hadn't really seen much of either of you except clips from random videos or what you could squeeze out on a rainy day. I see now why dylan is renowned for his incredible smoothness, and why you are a shuffle monster. Good stuff, lets see some more.

Damn, Jeremy. Blindingly fast moves, there. You've improved in leeps and bounds from the BCS, and there's probably still no end in sight.

Hey thanks Newf. Ryan was the first person I ever saw footbag footage of and I've always been a really big fan of his style. I think you can see his influence in my game - and also Lynton Stephens.

I thought I should say too - after I hit pigbeater outside the police booth, I hit it next to a police chick. We asked her if I we could film me hitting it next to her and she said she wasn't allowed but if we just crept up behind her and did it was cool. We didn't tell her what the move was ;)

I'll try to make another vid in a few weeks or a month - but it'll feature me and the other Tasmanians - rather than Dylan.
