I found this Article on about.com and wondered if she might be a friend of footbag. Only because she lives in San Fran and may know some of the community from back in the day.

Yeah it's an Ardvark. The guy who created it (name?) has a whole site dedicated to it and offers it to download as a screensaver. He's been a long time kicker of both freestyle and net.
