This being the case, and I fully agree based on the research so far, I
must apologize to all the gay people out there for my ignorant rant.
What I thought was a justification for hatred towards a learned
behavior, in reality was BIGOTRY of a select group of people without
any true warrant.
While I prefer women myself, I can now understand the feelings and
emotions portrayed by those I have openly offended and offer my sincere
apologies for any bashing, negativity, or unnecessary flaming, on a
group of people with which I did not fully understand nor take the time
to understand.
Having time off to reflect, I have done even further research into the
subject of sodomy with regards to the law. It appears this is an out
dated law that is not even enforced in any of the 7 states that still
have it on the books, and therefore, I apologize for that major insult
as well.
Not that it means much to those I've offended, but I am willing to
retro my behavior and include gays among the rest of society and accept
them as equals 100% without prejudice, malice, or ill intent now and in
the future.
I am so sorry for taking a Klan like stand toward gay rights, and look
forward to standing along side you to help promote better
understandings between ignorant groups of people toward gay people. I
feel bad even saying the word gay now, and will prefer not to
stereotype or refer to sexual orientation, as it is truely meaningless
to me now. As it should have been all along.
I am passing this note through Brad, as I'm sure many of you would
prefer I fall off the planet, and I understand. I just needed to make
my mends for the sake of those I hurt.
I can be a powerful force with the right knowledge, and I hope I can
serve the good people of modified with that knowledge regardless of
sexual orientation.

It's great that you found and read the research and have begun to accept and understand homosexuality. However, I believe there is still a limit to your understanding and acceptance of both homosexuality and your own ideals in general. I hope that you continue to seek the information that is already helping you to grow as a person.
