I'll have to add a few to the World Records List.

Thanks for this great Set's List.

I should add Job's Notation for the World Records List.

Yeah, not really.

Should the Symp. version be called Symposium Bubba, then?

I think Vasek has actually hit gyro shooting set before. I've never seen it, but he was soo close on Sorcery that I imagine he has already hit it into at least a butterfly. So you could probably name the trampoline set, but not the normal one.

To Josh: I can hit symp hopping as well, though you probably hit it before me, if you want to propose a name feel free, I had proposed popping (Tom influence) at worlds but I don't really like the name anyway (sorry bud ;)). I'll just refer to it as symp hopping if/until you come up with something.

Hey James, watch this:

Hopping Butterfly with the first dex symposium.

Well, I'll just name that trick by taking the original name...and then I'll simply work it into a system of symposium nomenclature that works for any symposium dex.

Alpha Hopping Butterfly.

See how easy that was?

The fact is, James, the greek system works. There ARE NO negative consequences to using it. It works for tricks of any dex number, for any particular dex within. It betters the jobs of Backside and Frontside, because it makes the specifics of ANY move perfectly clear.

You keep telling me that you're going to floor me with some irrefutable claim against the Greek Symp System. Well where is it?

Why refuse to utilize a flawless system?

You're just stubborn as hell, and there's absolutely no need for it.

In case anyone was still unclear:
There is no need for a symp name for ANY set. Flailing is useless, wonton is useless, pogo is useless, flaring is useless, hyper* is useless, railing* is useless, and yes, even POPPING is useless.

*That's right. Alpha Smear and Alpha Dominatrix could only mean one thing: Rooted sets.

And James, please believe me when I say that I'm not shooting you down for the sake of shooting you down.

I have hit two sets that are pretty stupid and that I'm sure no one will ever do. It mixes old school with new though. I don't know if the original set has a name but it's the set where you have bother feet on the ground, bag on toe, and with your other foot you apply pressure on the very tip of the toe that has the bag stalled on it. Then you apply upward pressure with the foot that has the bag and the bag just "springs" up.

I don't kow if anyone has any idea of what I'm talking about.

Anyway I hit that thing with atomic and quantum.

I'm just rambling.

back to greek letter symposium debate.
