i just discovered dinosaur jr. and they are one of the best bands ive ever had the privlege to listen to...i was wondering if anyone else likes and or has heard of dinosaur jr., im going to see them this summer in philly..i hear they put on great live shows.

You are one lucky fucking bastard. J Mascis is one of my favouite musicians ever. Check out J Mascis and the Fog if you like Dinosaur Jr. Not exactly the same sound, but just as rockin' in my opinion. Dinosaur Jr haven't played a show in, what, ten years? More? But no Canadian dates

check out www.dinosaurjr.com they just added some tour dates..im not sure if they are playing in canada but they might be playing somewhere close to you in the states.
