May05Video. Ashley Danowski.

Post by ashleyd »

Hey hey.

Heres my latest video. So yea, my camera broke and im using a pretty good web camera. Return of Crappy Web Cam Productions!!!

Ive made some progress, but there is still a boat load to work on.
From my video I learned:
-I need longer strings by using more tiltless combos.
-I should have more whirls and pixie tricks. ( I dont have any whirls in my vid, which is surprising for me)

thats really what im focusing on. hopefully this video will push some other women to play harder.

ps: i wanted for people to see what i really look like, not like all up in shred gear and hat, so i did that little inro thing. whatever.

Awesome ashley, you've gotten really good and I like the editing and intro thing. Your spinnings and duckings are really looking clean, I can see your going to be really good.

It seems like you and i are at the same point in spinning/ducking. I LOVE IT! Your style is so cool! Spinning osis seems really easy. The legbeater and blur were sweet! Your stepping op legovers were tight, and ducking and spinning, again, was really nice!

Props Ashley! The zoom sets were the shizznit, I have been working really hard on getting that super solid too. Zoom set spinning osis is awesome. Let's see some zoom set gyro mirages or merkons!

Great stepping too, that stuff is looking really solid!! :D

*edit* oh yeah I like the song choice, of course I'm sure thats not a suprise :P

Man that video was so awesome! It really encourages me to make a video of me and my crew!
You are really good! Damn! You do a lot of things I find really hard, like spinning out of osis, ducking and diving out of osis and spinning osis and anything involving butterfly, apart from that I think our games are quite similar!

Thanks for the motivation!

Very nice video Ashley, I defintely enjoy the atomic set (that damn set still eludes me). I look forward to shredding with you, if and when I make it down that way. Defintely keep the videos coming, and keep up the hard work.

Danowski hat owns. :)

I think you're downplaying how good you really are/can be...you've got a great style, and a pretty good repertoire of tricks. I can't hit ANY of those clipper strings...So, in one word: "Respect!"

I think the only thing that I could give criticism on is your ducking...I think there could be more of a "need to" duck underneath the bag, instead of just setting the bag over your head. I don't know if that makes sense. :?

Actually, I just watched the video again, and you DO duck under most of them...at least half anyway. Those look way cooler than the ones where you don't. :)

I don't think I've ever seen you with your hair non-up. Gotta say, you look pretty bad-ass in that opening. ;)

Keep up the shred. Footage is awesome. :)

Wow!

I really enjoyed that video. I was seriously diggin it. I like everything about your game, especially the osii. You own spinning osis! Same with the zoom. Again, great video. The music gave the video more of a feeling to it, which I enjoyed. Make more videos is all I can really say!

If I may challenge you here, hit some crispy torques midstring. I think that move has your name all over it.

EDIT:

I also notice that you seem to lose it when you do a 2 add, ie far legover. I had that problem when I tried to push myself into becoming guiltless when I wasn't ready. If this is the case for you, you are so right by trying to focus more on long strings including tiltless. Trust me, your good and I think you have mad potential to becoming one of the best.

Lol! Smooth Kevin ;)

I forgot to mention Ashley, how do you manage to duck so well with a hat on? I used to have long hair and wore a hat to keep it in, but whenever I did ducking or diving anything it flew off!
