Montana would have rocked, but i was switching our private network to a vpn at work, so i worked for 25 odd hours those 2 days. Maybe ill come to spokane for some net!!! Come to shredmonton, much net can be played!

I had the strangest night at work.

I didn't have any time to sleep in between my friday night shift and my saturday night shift...so needless to say, I was running on fumes.

I was playing some Literati with Anssi Sundberg (yes a Finn, it was interesting.

), but I kept nodding off for 45 seconds, 30 seconds, a minute...usually no more than that. I kept waking up to a feeling of momentary disorientation...thinking I'd made a word and submitted it, to find that I had only put a single letter on the board. It was very odd.

But that's not the weird part. A few times, I woke up to find things written in the chat window that I don't remember writing. Things that *look* like they should say something, but I have NO idea, and NO memory of them at all.

Best example:

qphox: ...ymm suwationable!
ana_ali: ???
ana_ali: what do you mean by ymm?
qphox: What the...?! I don't even remember writing that!

I mean, "suwationable" ?! Look at your keyboard. If you can find a word that is close to that...maybe my fingers shifted from homerow or something for a few letters...please tell me, because I have no idea what I was trying to say.

Sleep-typing. Bizarre.

OH OH OH and another time, check it out: WHILE SLEEPING, somehow I managed to open up Microsoft Word and type a cryptic message to myself.

What can I say. Footbag net Players are the most insane group ever! Allow me to recap the insanity...

Friday
->Hopped on a plane for a 6 hour flight to san francisco via Vancouver.
-> Got to San Fran, hopped Bus to Oakland and Walked to Site
->Met Everyone ive talked to on the .org forums and warmed up a bit and stretched.
-> Jukka had hurt himself (drinking I think

) and so i played 2 pickup games with mohkale!

hehe played ok for my first real net session in 8 months.
-> Hung out, watched some crazy guy wash his hands with eggs and puke more eggs on himself
-> Played a game with Hung Chang against the Man Himself, Kenny Shults.
-> Went to PT's, met my partner Simon, drank alot, met a few more players.

Saturday
-> Gametime 10:00 AM - Had a tough singles draw playing against Alexis Deschenes and Pat Keehan. Took Alexis to extra points in the 2nd game, then lost. Pat beat me in 2

-> Gamtime 2:00 PM - Doubles, pool was ok, Kenny/Chris, Hung/Tuan Vu, Edwin/Eric, and the Finns! Lost alot of games and were relegated to the Advanced Bracket.
-> Players party at PT's. Ate some good pizza, chatted with net players, met Chris 'Favre' Seibert, PT's Favorite football player

Got Drunk on Lagunitas beer and lost at darts to Matti and Simon, Fuckers...

Sunday
-> Advanced Doubles Bracket, me and Simon beat Steve Goldberg and Ryan 'the Regulator' Mulroney and the French Team, Miquel and Marco to advance to the Finals against Pat Keehan and Jack Harris. Good matches. Spiking was on, Simon was setting, I was Crushing.

Super Monday
-> Finals day at the fabled Peacock Meadows in Golden Gate Park, San Fran. Awesome Awesome Matches as Kenny took down Manu, Chaos beat Alexis and Brent and I got hammered! Freestyle after 10 beers with Tu Vu and Alex? for about 3 minutes, I sucked.

->Party at Tommy's Mexican Restaurant. Awesome. Had to buy Corey a Large Margarite for our Wager on Kenny/Manu. Kenny said he enjoyed his share, i think it was fixed

Tuesday
->Walked around S.F., went home

Thanks to Chaos and all the net players for the fun times. Finns, You guys rock! I will see you all in Finland! No more Freestyle for me!

Hey man, I saw you there right? It was awsome finnaly meeting someone from modified in real life. That game between Kenny and Manu was sweet and I know absolutly nothing about net.

Only 3 days till I leave shit ass shredmonton and head to Hell! Pumped up for 10 days of the finest footbag action in awhile. Looking forward to competing at net again and ive only played 6-7 times this year

Ive re-taken this over as the other net player blog (Mohkale) i think needs some company in this land of freestyle.
