It was a strange position to be in, but I disovered that it was mostly because of anti-feminist propaganda propigated through organized religion
It's the same way that people don't care for the environment. Idiotic slangs like "tree hugger" scare people away from the most important issue facing us today, and instead steers them in the direction af a dumb anorexic bitch who should've been exterminated long ago for being as thick as to stop eating for the sake of loosing weight.

Dang, I just read the 2 other pages, hate catching up on post... Here's my view:

Men and Women are NOT equal. Sure, we some people would like to see it like that, but it just isnt true. Men are stronger and more left brained. Imagine a world where woman outnumberd men 10 to 1. I'm sure the world would be much different, not just how females want it to be, but I believe it would be lacking greatly what we have today.

As I read (I cannot back up my claims, but If I wern't too lazy too look...), there is a reason why woman get paid less than men.

1. They usually hold lower positions in the workplace

2. They usually hold lower paying jobs than men

3. They usually work less hours than men

As for respect and feeling "inferior " goes, I beleive that men and woman should be treated more as "partners".

Yes, that's exactly why women get paid less than men. It's also why it's unfair that women get paid less than men. You seem to have summed up the argument in three points, without contributing anything. Are you saying that because men are stronger and more left-brained, women should occupy the lowest rungs of the occupation ladder, get paid less and work less hours? I don't get it...

First two paragraphs were not ment to be related. Eh, I guess I wasn't proving anything much, just getting thoughts to ponder/consider out there.

Men more left brained.
Which explains why a good 90% of famous authors, artists, and musicians are men?

I don't think you said a single correct thing in your entire post.

TheVindicator wrote:... Virginity is a nonexistant concept created to subserveanize women.
I'm curious to know where you're coming from, would you elaborate?

Oy....Alright. The subservean-izamahwhatnow:

Originally, a woman’s virginity was seen as currency, and the white linen slept upon during the wedding night was displayed in the yard, proving her value as evidence of her virginity upon her wedding night. The hymen is easily torn during exercise, falling down, masturbating, or some women are even born without one. This was in fact, well known to the more experienced in the family, which was why many a mother offered the following advice. In order to maintain the vizier of her worth, young ladies would cut themselves or sneak an animal’s blood into the bedroom in order to bloody the sheets. Virginity is an outdated religiously based concept that does not edify feasible practices, because religion is being taught in secular schools. Women’s rights movements have insured that women are no longer dependant upon men; therefore providing for themselves where a husband would have in the past, so virginity is no longer a fiscal possession.

Why it doesn't exist: I dare you to make a thread one "How do you define virginity?"<----an "Oy", waiting to happen

Shall we go on a bible thumping spree? *sigh* alright:
A hymen is how virginity is seen biblically (referring to Jewish/Christian/Muslim point of view). Once broken, she is no longer a virgin. See above on why that is infeasable. Beyond its easily tearability, it is an elastic membrane; a hymen may be stretched open without *tearing* (tearing used loosely because--->) A hymen will remain upon the walls of a vaginal opening until birth is given. So...technically, anyone who hasn't given birth is a virgin.

Though if we were to go crazily religious upon it: Anything compromisable to an intact hymen is seen as a 'de-virginizer'. In some religious sects/families/entire countries a tampon/masturbating/slipping and falling would mean she is no longer a virgin.

Thus far, we may conclude virginity is not defined by a hymen.
