BRAND FREAKIN' NEW CAMCORDER (Edmonton AB footage)

Here's a little bit of raw footage coming out of the Edmonton Scene...starring Rory, Andrew, Kevin, Ben, Mike, and Jesse.

It's ~5 minutes long, with a few things from each player.

Since it's barely edited beyond the clips themselves, if you want to know the players, check out this guide:

Rory: Blue hat, hits mostly strings.
Andrew: Tries Miraging ss Eclipse, lots of low to the ground 2's and 3's.
Kevin: Hits and misses a bunch of symp atomic stuff, hits a cool triple dex.
Ben: Hits Pdx Whirl, Falls down later.
Mike: An Edmonton legend, old school style including a Bent-Knee Rake attempt.
Jesse: A bearded newbie, hits Pixie Legover at the end.

High Quality: about 40 Mb

Low Quality: about 9 Mb

Listen at the end for the high school friend in the car that spotted me.

Awesome vid too - Rory's game is looking good - great to see you have so many up and comers. I love the run with the guy hitting the pdx whirl and giving himself props while still going - it looks like such a fun circle to play in!

SWEET VIDEO

I love these kinds of videos , lets us get a taste of alot of people other to just one person. These videos want shredmonton to come sooner and sooner ahhh its gonna rock

Sweet pdx whirl ben , sweet symp atomic stuff kevin , almost got the symp tapping ss flail

. Very nice bothsided strings rory , Looks like you have both pixie pretty dialed. Props to Jesse , very nice pixie legover , I bet that felt mondo sweet . Andrew , sweet strings and the eclipse was sweet. And to mike , very close to bend knee rake

Wait, what was the triple dex? The swirly thing? I slowmoed it a ton and don't understand. Is it dimwalk swirl? Or pixie reverse whirling swirl? Or what? When I first saw it I thought it was just pixie swirl. Was there another move where I missed seeing a dex?

I think my favourite parts, too, were Ben's pdx whirl run, with selfprops midstring, and the AWESOME spinning bail thing -- that was so sweet. I also agree with the lots of people video thing. I loved the last clip SOOOO much, 'cause everyone hit something cool all in one HACK!!

The eclipse was sweet, but I missed the miraging eclipse, too...I think I missed a lot in this video. I've watched it a bunch of times already, though...

It was awesome to see Kevin and Rory footage again

I can't wait to see more from your awesome new camcorder!!!!! Shredmonton's going to be huuuuuuuge!

EDIT: Oh, I see the miraging eclipse now. And PS I loved the butterfly swirling dragon(??) thing! Mike reminded me of Dylan Fry for some reason. He is super aggressive, but there was something about his first run...maybe the way he holds his hands, or something...and his face from a distance...
EDIT: Oh yeah, and my first impression was that I wondered why Rory wore his hat like that and came to the conclusion that perhaps he thinks it instills god-like (aka Schults-like) powers -- a great theory that I now want to test out for myself!
EDITAGAIN: My bad, I completely did see the triple dex and even talked to Kevin about it on MSN before I saw the video -- I am not with it.

What was that triple dex? I can't remember exactly what it looked like. Was it pixie ss double pickup? whatever it was, nice trick, nice vid. thanks for breaking up my final exam studies.

By the way I think I missed the bent knee rake, or maybe I just don't understand it... when in the video is that?
