the first I ever had was a guatemalan one that I bought from Odd Creations Junkett in Rome, NY. I only had it for a few days before I was kicking it in the gym before cross country running practice, and Nick, a kid a year older than me on the team started booting it as hard as he could. I said, "stop, it's going to get stuck in the rafters!" and he said "it won't get stuck", and booted it again, and it got stuck. He never paid me my $9 back. asshole.

yeah man, growing up i had a guate or two. i cant recall my actual first one, but i got SO good at breaking them in properly. i would get the perfect amount of pellets, it would break, i would sew it, over and over, until it was settled. it would become like a skin or something. perfectly round and regular. it would kick perfectly everytime, and stall like a dream. i honestly think if i had a bag in good condition to this day, it would be my best bag. or maybe i just remember it better than it actually was. smelled great to. i used to scent it

oops, i meant "too." jeez, i dunno what my problem is with spelling and grammer tonight.
but yeah. for some reason, the bags seemed to smell good to begin with, but then i started spraying it with air freshener, holding the nozzle against the surface of the bag, to get the smell deep into the bag. not only did it smell great for a real long time ("butterfly garden scent" it was) but it seemed to only help the softness of the bag, somehow. it was almost....
