Arizona Tourney...

Okay all you shreders...Even though i am new to the sport of footbag, I am throwing a tournament...I need advice on were to get sponsors who to ask... And whos coming? How many people here live in the arizona area? Or around it? So if you would like to come just post it up in here I dont know the exact date but eh i want people to come...

I won't be attending, but for the sponsors thing, go to local skate shops, clothing stores, sports shops, ect. and of course talk to Daryl over at www.freedomfootbags.com

Alright thanks for the help =) i think ill contact daryl (already did) I also emailed lots of stitchers for prizes... I am going to go contact all the local skateshops such as freedom skateshop...Thanks for the help

I am gonna work on getting it on the news with the local tv stations...I will also be taping everything =)So once i get it done i will put the videos here...I wonder if carol will come considering its only 1 state over =0

If the tourney is in AZ before the end of July, then yes, I would attend. However, if it is post-july, then I might not be able to make it, as I will be full-time employed in another state most-likely.

I am not trying to be negative or anything. But it seems that you are new to footbag. I dont suggest throwing a "tournament" yet. Maybe just call/email people and see if they just wanna come to PLAY with you. Like a Jam or something. It is VERY hard work throwing a tournament and you should have some experience or someone with experience helping.

But if you feel you can pull it off, despite your age (how old are you? 15/16?) go for it!

AZ is really hot to have a tourney in summer. Make sure you have an ambulance on stand-by.
