Somebody please help this kid.

Somebody, seriously help this kid out. This other fellow is telling him to order an Abshire and empty it, then refill it to get it to a good weight/filler amount. Correct me if I'm wrong. I've never heard of anybody doing this to an abshire and I think this kid is about to listen to the other fellow. I would want someone to warn me if I was gonna ruin a $35 bag. I'd do it but I really don't know if he's right or not, I'm just going by what I read.

I'm pretty sure that what Waylon Lew is talking about is using the bleed holes to change the filler - this should be perfectly safe. I've never taken beads out like this but I put extras in all the time and it's safe - I've done it pretty much all my bags when they get holes in the fabric - it doesn't hurt them at all.

Yo JOshua, there is absolutly no problem in changing the filler of any bags... I would do it to an abshire if I had one, I did it for my Ilja and my Felix... There is absolutly no problem...
I don't like at all their filler...

Personnaly, I think they are not shreddable with out changing the filler...

If he doesn't like the filler, why don't you just order an empty shell ?

Save the stitcher the time and hassel of filling the thing and you get to save the wear and tear of emptying a brand new bag and refilling it.

If you buy it without filler maybe you won't be able anymore to judge the quality of the bag
But anyway: funny idea

En meme temps, the quality of the bag is not the filler, it is excusivly the stitching isn't it?

You can have a very bad stitched bag with so good filler (I won't give exemple..), and you can have sooo good bags stitched perfectly, but with shity filler (Felix-Ilja (in my opinion...))...
