weeeeerrrd up Munich crew!

Awesome reports guys! Ive already talked to some people on PMs after this weekend so you know whats up but thanks again for everything at Footjam, it was awesome!
Im stoked that you hit Atom Smasher, Daryl! I agree its definitely a sweet feeling move, its very fast and aggressive i think. I hope my few tips on Atomic were of some help to you.

Did someone actually hit Symp whirling swirling blender?!!

Hania: Do you think you could make 2 polish CDs? I would love to hear some new hip hop aswell. Ill make you a copy of an Australian hip hop album in return... :)

19. May 2005
Players: Daryl, Max
Bea took a break today to give her shines a rest.

We played at a sunny spot right in front of open air bath next to my place. First we drilled some basics and then both hit Ducking Pdx Mirage on both sides :) + I hit 7 Whirls on one side on the other I think I did ~ 5. But my legs were really sore today so I couldn't push myself too hard. But Daryl made some good progress with his Whirls and consecutive Clippers. In the end we both played for 90 seconds straight (I had a stop watch ;)) At 45 sek I called " Go Daryl" and he thought the time is over , anyway he did really good! More shred on Saturday.
Ahh I just downloaded the Daryl interview!!! So fucking hilarious You both were so funny :D:D:D :D :D

Hi Flavio,
again I'm very sorry for saying Wulhausen instead of Wulhusen so often at the Footjam ;) And Bjoern is our man when it comes to video editing, but I guess the video will come out at the earliest next week. Bjoern said it's gonna to be over an hour :D

Yo ! Time for some shred news :

In the cave, where we kicked on wednesday i had really sad runs,
but towards the end of end of the session, my shredabillity kinda
came back and i had a nice time with flip stepping and other stuff :

clip set ss legover bsos ( for the first time  )
pixie ss rake
flip blur ( four times ?)
flip ripwalk

coupla atomsmashers :D
I'm quite happy, that my 4adds are finally comming along and that
my pixie/stepping/atomic stuff makes a little more sense, but i gotta
push my string length like hell

The day after i had an outdoor session with Max, and we mainly drilled.
I worked on butterflies and clipper>clipper ( no nasty shuffle plants here).
I dont recall all the drills that Max invented for me, nor can i remember
the number of contacts and stuff, but i felt like moving on.

We also went for some runs, but our four legs were mad heavy, so my
only highlight was stepping legover bsos and ss mirage>ss clip>
blur>handcatch ( because i was so stoked....stooopid  )
And another four add was hit on both sides :ducking pdx mirage
Good day that, especially the shred-on-time, that Max already wrote
about ; damm, sun, i really gotta work on my endurance :?
And Max made me also understand more, HOW hardcore Vasek is :
i mean iwas on the floor after one and a half mins, from doing little
mirages and some pixie stuff and like 700 drops, where this guy
bust the hardest, effortlessly, basically all 4's and up, crazily linked
for two mins WITHOUT any drops 8O

After our sess, i waited for the train, worked on my osii and i had a
simple tiltless run with xbd rake bsos .

I didnt really shred the other days, but i worked on my non shuffle plant
alternating clippers, and i hit seven ( excluding the initial clipper) like
3 times today...i will get better though

And i also want to thank everybody for showing Munich Footbag
all that love, this will increase my shredmania and general footbag appreciation to no ends :D

THANX

hey hunters,

greetings from LA!!
First thanks to Bjoern and Daryl for the short clip. It´s so funny man. :D

Props to your flip stuff Daryl. FootJam inspired u so much I think.

News from Landshut: Philip is still out of training, because of his injury.
On saturday I had a nice session. best run: smear>pixie but>clip>flip clip>osis>but>pdx mirage>illusion>legover>pixie clipper>diving clipper>plo Drop
(I hit all the tricks very clean I think, it felt good)

Oh and very important, I get my Hania bag the next days!!
:D :D :D :D Yeeepeeee

That´s it, hope to see all of u next saturday for party!!

Ok here is my Footjam 2005 report, at least for Friday and Saturday

Friday
We (Beatrice, Svenja, Bjoern, Daryl and I) started at 1:30 pm at my place after managing to fit all our stuff into my mom's car. (I had to leave my longboard behind :( ) We drove staight down to the Austrian boarder, and apart from two traffic jams everything was fine. But then I drove right onto an Austrian highway and into the Pfaendertunnel without an valid vignette 8O I was really afraid getting caught and having to pay a huge fine. But nothing happend and the tube saved us a lot of time. Our first stop was at the Swiss border, (this time we bought a vignette ;)) and we shreded a little bit there (Ripwalk in jeans) In Zuerich we were caught in a huge traffic jam and it took us about one hour to drive 5 km. Anyway we arrived well at the Rote Fabrik and after parking the car in a street where it actually wasn't allowed headed back to the Gemeindezentrum and ran into a guy who looked like he was looking for Footbag players ;) It turned out it was Ian from Australia. Later I played in a circle with Lise, Ian and Jochen. That was a good start and Ian showed me how to link symp. mirage > ss symp mirage wich was the first of many things I learned that weekend (footbag wise). During that evening / night I talked to many different people, I really liked the relaxed atmosphere and everybody was enjoying it. I didn't sleep at all the night cause of some stupid gangster kids talking about swiss rap or whatever outside the room we slept in. In the moring we discovered that we lay in a ant-hill :) The ants went for my girlfriends shower gel :? Maybe the swiss ants like shower gel more than the sweet coca cola bottels right next to us...

Puhh this is reaching a Daryl like lenght :) I'll write about the other days on a other day ;)

Monday Shred

This time it was Max and me only, and we drilled hard as usual ;
too much, i should say, because there wasnt too much energy left for long, controlled runs .
We worked on clippers, butters, pixie, stepping and atomic and thats
what i've hit :
27 flip ss clippers
28 strong ss clippers
31 alt legover

stepping ss legover both sides
flip ATOMSMASHER

plo>xbd rake
ducking clip>dlo 8)

The runs were around 12 contacts :? , but tiltless and with an average
of 3 3adds ( non pixie ), for example : mirage>ss mirage>ss mir>dlo
>legover>ducking clipper>mirage>pick up>ducking mirage>ss clip>
far leg over>xbd rake .
We decided to focus on like three concepts only per session and the
rest of the time will be used for proper shred

man Daryl you are getting so insanely good - and I can't even witness the
fitness! props on the clippers and flip atomsmasha!

today is my fourth session in physio therapy. they have never before
seen a similar inury, but have located a point in the calf where the
pain comes from, and it's similar to a "knot" in the shoulders/back when
you're verspannt. I'm getting massages and hot fango packs, and I
burned a footbag cd for my physio therapist, because she had never
seen it before.. :)

hope to see you all on saturday, bring some chalk, we might need it at
some point :)

Damn I just realized that I'm going to Dresden this weekend so I won't be at your party :(

24 May 2005
The only things to remember are that my pixie set worked quite well. Dimwalk > Pdx Mirage ~ x 5 and I hit parkwalk > butterfly > pdx mirage repeat :) and another new link Tap > Atomsmasher but only one one side...
