Bruce Spence is in "Revenge o/t Sith"? Wow. I never would have expected that. I mean, really, whats the last major motion picture that he's been in?Also it has my favourite actor in it so I liked it just for that.

Hmm - Bruce Spence's latest movies:
Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge Of the Sith
Austrlian Summer (short independant film - won best film at Tropfest - Australian short film festival - Bruce won best actor)
The Brush Off (Australian tv movie)
Peter Pan
The Lord Of The Rings: Return of the King (but only in the dvd version)
The Matrix: Revolutions
Finding Nemo
Inspector Gadget 2
That's it for the last 2 years. Of course he has minor roles in almost all those films - but at least he's in a lot. His performance in Australian Summer is easily his best of all those.

I got to see it yesterday and it was awesome. I love Star Wars. I love Natalie Portman even more! The action in this movie was awesome. It's totally an action movie. The love scenes between Anakin and Padmé kind of turned me off (not just because I love Portman, but because it wasn't as real as in Episode II to me). But some of the events were pretty "PG-13" and I was in a theatre of mostly 7-10 year olds, and I thought it was hilarious that their parents were letting them witness this stuff. Overall the movie was great - go see it. I can't wait till the six episodes come out on DVD!

I saw this last night... with a cute girl. The dialogue often made me want to crawl into a hole and die... but it was ok, since I was with a girl. I liked how it finally tied the plot up and made everything connect and make sense (although I've known it was Palpatine since Episode 1)<--- eh, that'd be a spoiler, I suppose.
And of course the action kicked ass.
I don't think that was really that significant. That was just like any other quasi-anti-war speach ever. I think what the guy was trying to get at was when Anakin said something to the effect of, "You're either with us or against us," to which Obi-wan replied, "Only the sith deal in absolutes." That's when shit goes DOWN. Also the whole thing about Palpatine suddenly turning it into an Empire, and Padme says something like, "The revocation of all liberty is welcomed with thunderous applause," which is what's happening up in these parts.
Edit: Shit, this would have worked out a lot better if it was not a grey background.

i saw it late last night and...
is quite right. the dialogue between anakin and padme was...devastatingly pathetic and cliche. another thing is, the action scenes were wicked hard to follow. when they made the original episodes obviously they had less special effects technology, so the action scenes, while being less flashy and complex, were much easier to visually follow. with the new technology, the action scenes were borderline overdone.Tsia wrote:Yoda was by far the best actor in the movie, and chewy was a close second.

ok heres my review.
Sick.
Pretty much sums it up. I loved the whole thing. The middle was a little boring, it was basicaly alot of diologe that had to be said so you get the story. Loved the end. Oh man, when he got the darth vadar suit on was the best. Although, after he had his suit on and....his reaction to....something(that i wont say).... was horrible acting and writing. thats the only flaw. all the action seens were sick. and i just loved it all.
alright fellas. go see it if you havent.

Ok if you don't like Star Wars, you probably won't like Episode 3.
But if you are even remotely interested in Star Wars you will love it! Much better than Episode 1 and 2.
Yah, some of the acting and script were bad, but the rest of the movie was so much better that you can easily look past it.
As a whole the movie was awesome!

I do not think so !!!!
star wars are
heroes
force
war
lightsaberfights
action
such charakter like jar jar is inappropriate in this saga!!!!
this film is so good , before watching it I did much research on the web to get as much knowledge on the charakters.
I hope to get more star wars stuff soon .
comics , films , ebooks
my girlfriend is no starwars fan but I was so jealous that she could watch star wars 1-6 in the original order. Unfortunately she was sitting next to me as we watched the revenge of the sith.
to the film :
there was one charakter which was disappointing to me :
General grivous (sp?) He was a little bit too skinny and too much of a machine.
the rest was really good.
It is sad that you do not know the whole story - there are so much things were you do not know if the imperator / yoda was telling the truth or if their lies were part of their plan.
question 1 : what do you think of the fight against windu and palpatine?
question 2 : what do you think about the fight of palpatine and yoda?
there are many people who are telling that the procedure of the fight was planned by the more powerful guy.
wwroooooooooooooooomm...............wwroooooooooooooommmmmmmm

I thought he was great. I mean, his eyes were dope. I wish i would have thought of a character like that. I thought i saw like a short vid that said the concept of him was created from a guy looking at the top of like a Windex bottle....or something like that.DoctorJay wrote: there was one charakter which was disappointing to me :

holy shit when he took out his lightsabers and started heading toward Obi Wan i nearly DIED. That was so good.

i saw it 2 times opening day and all i have to say is WOW this movie was so amazly good but very sad, i am a very big fan of star wars, right before i saw revenge of the sith i watched episode 1&2 than the next day i watched new hope, empire and return of the jedi, i think george lucas did a great job and i dont know why people thought it was boring in the middle, i was interested the whole time, all together i thought this plot unfloded very well, i give it a 5 out of 5........oh yea, yoda is the man!

one thing about the ending...all the sudden it started to go really fast...like...bam, there was the death star. nothing was left unwrapped...it was almost too explained. and also, i feel like young darth vader was a good deal smaller than the old one. more sleek and small in general.
if you're exposed to the vacuum of space, dont you immediately implode (explode?)? wasnt there a scene where i think...obi-wan and some others where exposed to space? i dont remember. something that i didnt think would work.
