my new album, just released!

Hey everyone, I just released an album of my original music... Singer / songwriter folk rock kinda stuff. I have samples and pictures up at www.MattCrossMusic.com

the reason I'm making this post is because I'm trying to get cash together for my trip to Euros / Worlds this summer, so I thought I'd see if anyone from the modified community wants a CD. They're $8 each (8 songs for 8 bucks! a steal!) + $2 shipping (int'l to be discussed). I prefer paypal.

If anyone who's heard it wants to write a line or two for review, it might help me sell a few

I'm proud of this album. All the songs are different, and none of them are about, "I love you, I miss you, I'm so sad, please come back to me". I think those that buy it will find it to be $10 well spent. Hope to hear from some of you soon, and see y'all in Europe!!!!!

Hey Matt, its really quite a wonder to see you here, because I downloaded a couple of videos of you off of limewire. I'm new you can probably see...

But as for your music, it was really great. Real great sound, and the production was top-notch.

Well onto the album. Overall, the general mood prescribed by Matt is laid back, chill, and nice sounding. The violin (Nora Kaminski) makes for nice harmony in parallel to the guitar. Some corporate inspired lyrics (Victory Gin) reflect the thought on the album. The guitar and vocals seemingly hear eachother perfectly and mirror what has to be said. Guitar production is clear, but at times, I found the vocal mixing a little faint, I'm sure that live this would not be the case, but Matt's voice was as if he was in another room, however, this was only apparent on a few of the songs. In any case- buy this album! You get a personalized message, footbag paraphanalia, and great coffee shop music- and no imperialist mass label involved.
