If I were a mod I would post a friendly reminder and move this to the bags and equipment forum.. but I'm not so I will just post a friendly reminder
....
Hi 'footbagkilla', there is a forum called 'bags and equipment' where topics relating to footbags and eqipment in particular should be posted. This will probably be moved there soon, but try to remember in the future to make topics in the forum to which they apply
Good luck with your quest!

It is hard if you don't know how big to make the panels, how many stitches to do, if you dont have consistent stitching, if you can't handle fabric yet and if you dont understand the logic of how a 32 goes together.Leuch wrote:I would say start with a 32.. it is not that difficult...
Its not that simple right off the bat.
I would recomend making a simple 4 panel bag out of any scrap material.

so what do you learn about 32 panels doing a 4 panel? Not the size of the panels, not how many stitches to do and not the logic of how a 32 goes...
I agree that it's not that simple to stitch a 32 the first time, but making 4 panels bags will not bring you the secret of how to do a 32.. It will eventually bring to the stitching technic, and do straight points...

I was suggesting 4-panels to get the feel for working with fabric and for making consistent stitches.
A 32 is rather overwhelming at first and a 4 panel is a much more achievable challenge which results in a bag being made and a goal accomplished thus encouraging the stitcher to keep at it.
Would you also recomend he skip toe stall and go straight to mobius?
