I finally saw this movie. For some reason it got bad reviews.
It's probably one of the best movies I've ever seen -- it was amazing. I think everybody should watch it! I downloaded it and wanted to check it out before I played footbag, but after the first 3 minutes I couldn't stop watching -- something that doesn't usually happen when I watch a movie on my computer (I'm usually constantly pausing for food and stuff).

Has anybody else seen this? I can't believe I'd never heard anybody rave about this movie before. It's so amazing (minus the last MINUTE, maybe...)

what it really messed up, was the anti-smoke-campaign! it was soooo disturbing, to concentrate everything on the cigarettes...

btw, was it sponsored by some non-smoking-bureau?

I liked it. I've always enjoyed DC/Vertigo's take on god and the devil, heaven and earth.

??????.....dude, please explain to all of us WHY you thought Constatine was good. It SUCKED. I Hated It. Waste of my time. The plot was paper thin as well as corny. Reeves sucked. That little boy sucked. Everything was corny and stupid. Oooooh, wow, some graphics here and there. Not worth it.

Yes that kid was horrible. But I don't remember leaving the theater hating Constantine with a passion like I did T3, Reign of Fire and Daredevil. Perhaps I'm just more forgiving of comics based movies. Oops, I already mentiond Daredevil... oh and I own the last 2 Batman DVD's

I dunno, I guess I just didnt think it was that bad.

Yeah I actually enjoyed it. I was surprised because I had pretty low expectations of the movie - I guess maybe that helped in my enjoyment.

It's pretty cheesy and silly - but I really like some movies like that. It's not a movie that would win any awards for anything - but it has it's own style and some subtle cleverness I think. It's one of those movies that if you take seriously you'd think sucks - but otherwise is definitly enjoyable.

Also I'm a fan of god v satan movies - I really don't know why considering my complete distaste for religion. It seems that Keanu is a bit of fan of them too - Devil's Advocate and then this.

I have to say I think the very last moment in the movie - the "twist" was so cool. One of the cheesiest moments in movie history - if you don't laugh you'll cry

(it's like - "omg how can anybody think that that's a good ending for a movie")
