Shame on you :D today was frikken historical !

When i went out to play today, i totally lied to my neighbor,
when i said "i just have an easy session, just doin some osii
and some xbd rakes maby". Muhahaha...

The warm up was stolen from Ken/Max, and i did some of that
toe stall/mirage/ss mirage jazz, and i loved it *
I drilled stuf like muted ss mir> ss clip> far legover rpt and
i must say Ian's muted ss mirages are so fun and so much more stylee
than the planting style .

After that i took off :

symp mirage> muted ss mir> muted ss mir> ducking symp mir :!: >
celebration dance !
:P i hit a new move midrun - that never happens[/b] !

then i proceeded, trying to improve my atomic sets :

tap, muted tap, atomsmasher bs
muted ssmir> muted ss mir>tap>legover bs
muted ss mir> mirage>ATOMSMASHER>legover bs

before today, i've never even tried to hit any atomic move out of/into
a another trick, you can imagine how i freaked out...
It was either the revenge for all the non shred or the simple
fact, that i picked up my Ilja bag from the post office...shredmania...

mirage>ATOMSMASHER>legover>legover>ATOMSMASHER>legover 8O
i fucking hit atomsmasher bsos - holy fucking cow :D

PLO>ATOMSMASHER

Max i see ya tomorrow 8)

oh my god. everone is getting so good.

i have one more session of physio therapy, and I hope my calf will be
fine, but I'll be out for a while anyway because my right knee is still troubling
me quite a bit. I'll take it slow and try to get back in shape before
I start shredding again.

but I hit a nice run in full work clothing with a ring of keys:
mirage>legover>ss osis>far legover>butterfly

and a keyring ducking clipper.

On friday, Max and me had a nice outdoor sesh at a public swimming pool.

It was very fun to play there and the older folks and kids, that
were watching, where pretty intrigued ; its always nice when
you get a round of applause for mirage>legover rpt

Basically during our whole warm up, we were surrounded by three kids,
and they asked a lot of questions, mostly stupid ones, and one of the boys
hit a coupla toe stalls. The only girl from that lot, a bright and fairly eloquent
tomboy came up with some brilliant stuff ; how footbag is comparable to
figure skating, that terrage is harder than smear and that footbag's possibilities are boundless :D
i hope she remembered our club's website, and that she comes
to practice to become the new Tina Aeberli !

We both didnt hit anything too wild that day, but there were some nice runs.
One was with tap, plo, smear and diving clipper and 10 tiltless,
another had ducking mirage, smear and atomsmasher .

And three new links :
butterfly>gyro toe>xbd rake
smear>tap
smear>symp mirage>ducking mirage

I also hit ducking symp mirage again, and some really easy beta smears.

After our shred we dipped in the pool to cool of and i realized how
perfect this kinda setting is and how much i love summer, water and
FOOOTBAAAAG !

Oh yeah before i forget : this morning, after a wild night out, i hit my first spinning clipper completly wasted at the bus stop ! yippieeee
:P

News from L.A.,

yesterday I had two sessions:

A singel session. I tried pixie legover> atomsmasher> smear but after atomsmasher its impossible for me to hit a pixie trick :(. So I tried magelan> pixie legover> atomsmaher. (hit the combo three times)
And I was very close to dimwalk> sidewald> duckpdxmir.

Later I played with Philip, his girlfriend Patricia and Michi.
Patricia (she plays for two weeks) hit around the world and mirage on both sides!!!

Oh, and I hit flip pixieosis. O.k. thats all!

Best wishes to all of my crew.

Maby I come to munich next week.

He Markus good to hear that you guys keep playing hard in downtow LA.And you even motivated new ppl! Hope to see you again soon.

Yesterday was a cool session indeed. I didn't hit anything new but did a 22 contacts run with only one guilt and another one, guiltless, with 19 contacts.
After the training I checked out the train connections to Berlin, for the GFO, but all the cheap seats were, as I expected, already booked out. So I'll have to find another way to Berlin.

Ahhh damn i didnt even think of that option! I could have flown to Munich and then travelled with you guys! But ive already booked my flights now, £125
But im sure it will be worth it!! I want to play much more footbag than i did in Zurich! I dont think i got to play that much then. Hopefully i will be in better form aswell.

Cya in a week and a bit!!

Thanks Ian :D

Markus, we gotta battle...magellan>smear>atomsmasher...also

Sorry, but i gotta improve my german posting skill - it is my first language, but posting in german has a weird feel to it somehow...

Monday

The warm up was kool, Bea and me worked on some basics like
atw in>atw out>pixie rpt ( she did a pixie legover, of course...),
ss clip>ss clip>clip rpt, consecutive clippers and tiltless runs for
a little stamina.
Later we practiced pixie and stepping stuff, first to hand and then
we hit tricks out of it, i remember stepping leg over and blur bs.
When Max came, the two Hunters mainly worked together, while
i worked excessivly on different ducking variations, and Bea
showed me ss butters again.
It was the first monday of the month again, so i had to go back to work
and the time for runs was rather short, but sweet, i tell ya :)
Max strings are getting more solid and hardcore everytime,
so awesome to watch :D go guiltless !
Playing with Bea again was very nice aswell, her up beat style and
elegance are always a nice contrast to Max and mine agressive game.
She had one crazy run with 8 or more guiltlesss cons out of 13 8O
And another one where she hit like 3 pixie tricks already, and she got
tired and almost dropped, but didnt, pdx mir>dimwalk> butter> far l.over
>drop...what a fighter ! I look 4ward to play with you two on thursday :)

My results :

11 alternating clipper
- a world record with tons of style !
ss clip>butter> ss butter bs
xby rake>butterfly>gyro toe

muted ss mir>ss clip> stepping legover bs
...b2b was on /off my foot
like 10 fucking times, it wasnt even funny...

ducking clipper and ducking butter bs
stepping ss mirage bs
diving clipper ( 11 )
diving butterfly (2)
ducking pdx mirage ( no plant) bs

Finally i also had some runs, that i can call runs :)

20 tiltless, 16 tiltless with muted ss mir>muted ss mir>symp mir,
16 tiltless with butter>pdx mirage bsos and one plo.

tap>legover>legover>pick up>mirage>mirage>muted ss mir>
mir>muted ss mir>smear>legover>ss clip>stepping legover>
ducking clipper>handcatch

another one with 13 cons and flip atomsmasher, plo and ducking mirmid run.
The other runs were shorter, but i hit blur and ducking symp mir as opening moves.

4 new moves, better clippers. proper runs and pixie emancipation -
good sesson that :)

And i've learnt two things : i need longer contact time and osis is
actually a very nice move - a certain flip osis was probably the
best feel throughout that evening !

Tuesday

tap>smear
beta smear midrun

flip datw, unsealed :x

DOUBLE SWITCHOVER !!!

almost every 3 add(butter, xbd rake plo, smear, smudge, tap...)
on command at work/train station> side comments> dropping jaws>
laughter>rpt

I LOVE FOOTBAG - thank god that i wear underwear today !

Go Daryl ! :) What about playing today??? It's really a pity that my exams are in 5 weeks... so I have to spend a lot of time over my books, but on the other hand in 5 weeks I'm half done with my studies :) Graduate engineer here I come!
Anyway... there is a train on Friday evening, it leaves in Munich at 23:07 and is in Berlin at quater past seven saturday morning. So we have the whole day and we could take a train back Sunday evening and be back home again monday morning. The whole trip would cost 96 euros + 5 euros for the accomodation in the gym.

Mr Seifert, i'm in :D

Today Max and me sneaked into the deep and hidden halls of ZHS,
a place where lazy students pretend to do sports

Perfect setting, some of our monday jugglin' artists were there too
and one of em brought a soundmachine - shreddin to music is the shizzle !

warm up was unusually hard, i had a lot of difficulties with simple stuff,
but i fought thru it ( of course ) and after some simple tiltless dexing
and atw in>atw out>plo bsos, we practiced pixie, stepping and atomic shit
together (plo ,smear, step legover, blur ,tap ,atomsmasher all bs 8) )

Atomic seems to be my favorite set at the moment - i find it fairly
easy and reliable, whereas pixie and stepping are somewhat
rebellious at times.
I had a good time with atomic legovers, i will hit some on my flip
soon too, when my right ankle is back to normal;
i also had at least two good legbeater attempts, i hope to hit it 2morrow !

With stepping i have troubles with balance and majorly with timing
and with pixie, its either the setting up of the bag it self or my
flat footedness after the set ; luckily this is only a flip problem
and it has gotten way better- but on days like today, where i'm
too tired to play anyway, this kinda ish happens...

We also spent at least 3/4 hr with proper shred and like last session,
i was ok with my runs, not great but ok...

butterfly, plo, smear, ducking mirage, xbd rake all bsos, different runs tho

spinning clip bs ( never hit it flipside b4 )
gyro mirage bs ( same thing )

atomic legover>12 contact run
pick up>mirage>muted ss mir>>mirage>beta smear>legover>
pick up>smear>ducking clipper>drop

mirage>muted ss mir rpt ducking symp mirage>run

one run with 20 contacts, plo, smear, symp mir and butterfly midrun
and another string with xbd rake>butterly>f. legover>run>butter>pdx mir>run ( 14 cons) ;
more runs around 14 cons with 3 to 4 3 adds and occasional 4's
thrown in, but i cant remember :) , but i Do know that
i want a run with six 3 adds and at least one 4 adder, maby tomorrow !

atomsmasher>smear 8) yeeeah !

= backside smear, but thats such a nasty name for a rather beautiful move,
ausserdem find ich diesen ganzen frontside/backside quatsch ziemlich verwirrend,
wenn man anzeigen will, welche dex symposium ist.
So somebody came up with the idea of using the letters of the greek
alphabet to indicate which dex is done symposium, in this case its the second one ; pixie symposium mirage .

But screw all this big props for your whirling, man, thats a concept i should
definitly school more, but hell there are too many things to keep in mind !
When will we play again man ?
Maby you can come down with Philip when he picks up his shoes ?

edit: has your Hania Bag broken in yet, how do you like playing with it ?

shred hard

ACHTUNG!

Das Geburtstagsfest wird verschoben!! Am Wochenende ist schlecht Wetter
angesagt.

Dafür gibts abends live musik im Gasteig, u.a. mit der Express Brass
Band - dann wird dort ein bißchen gefeiert.

Hi Bjoern I'm not sure about coming this weekend because of my tests. Anyway what's up with berlin everyone? Mitfahrgelegenheit (schlecht da wir dann wahrscheinlich am Sontag recht früh weg müssen) or by train or what? Please answer!

8. June
Daryl wrote everything important yet. So I just add my achievments:
29 Osis :) Osis > Osis gives you such a cool feeling!
Some good Butterfly, Osis combos. 5x Osis > Far Osis with my flipside! Felt great but I was kinda dizzy afterwards.
And like Daryl but on both sides :twisted: Atomsmasher > Smear I hope my runs will be better next time, when I feel less tired than I did yesterday.
R: Are you guys tiltless or guiltless?
D: ?I can do THIS [ATW], and he can do it with the other foot!
