I still think it's easiest to tally the uniques liberally, and place factors into the scoring equation to enhance the values of even sided shred, and gross variety in trick presentation.
I wouldn't want to see a competition where someone does barfly ->DDD->barfly->DDD get two uniques, when someone who does whirl->paradox whirl->whirl->paradox whirl get four uniques.

hmmm personally i think that comparing whether 2 moves are the same or not depends on difficulty. I think that ddd's are much much harder than barflies, because for ddd you have to sorta have a good set and its much harder to dex it cleanly. With barfly, you can sorta just hit it easier because the set isnt as hard to do as ddd.
Yeah i wouldnt want to see that either man...btw barfly >ddd repeat looks awesome when vasek or some pro does it.
i personally think dod and paradon are way different moves. ddd you need to set perfectly straight and not to drag the set, but paradon is much easier. I would say that dod/paradon/barfly/ddd are all unique, but in competitions i guess having them all the same forces the player to have more variety.
