Right on!

Green Cup was so much fun and well organized too. I spent ten days in Oaktown with Jukka. P.T. Lovern hosted us in his house, he was a supercool host. Actually, he's really a biatch and I love him for it.

I like shooting pictures with my camera, but dumb as I am, I forgot to take the charger with me. So I only took like 20 shots before the battery died. I was told my camera is so new, there's no replace charger for it yet

I bought a lot of clothes too. Outlet stores keep amazing my time after time. Haight street was kind of cool and disgusting. I went to a McDonald's at the end of Haight st, and there were 2 transsexuals or cross-dressers or what the hell they want them selves to be called. It was weid, I honestly couldn't tell which ones they originally were. Not because they looked so much like both, but because they looked so much like neither.

A lot of funny stuff happened. There was this crackhead in the park we played in. He had 10 or 12 raw eggs. First he took one out of the box and started gently hitting the eggshell with a pen. Somehow he managed to make a hole in the egg and drank it and couple of others. After eating he intentionally broke 2 or 3 eggs and washed his hands with them. After he was done washing hands, he started throwing them on the court. By then, I couldn't help but laugh out loud. Then he said something like "Eat eggs. Eggs make you smart." It was funny because mostly his sentences had no understandable words in them.

If you care about net, you already know that Manu's 36-competition long winning streak in singles in now gone as Kenny Shults shot him down. Kenny is amazing. He's 39 and he won The superstar of our sport in the physically toughest event of footbag. I hope Kenny challenges Manu in Worlds. Manu really has to work for his 8th consecutive Worlds singles title.

In doubles own town superheroes Johnny Leys ans P.T. took the Cup home, right next to P.T.'s tequila collection.

I played and partied with awesome people while I was there. I got to play Kenny in singles, that was a great experience. I also met a lot of new, cool people.

During my stay I played 6 (56) times. Me and Jukka took 5th place in doubles which was okay for us. As usual, Jukka suffered from number of injuries, including a bruised rib from drunken wrestling. "Dude, those Finns are crazy." It turned out I'm not very good in drunken wrestling

. In singles I was 7th, which was decent, considering I don't really care about singles.

Turku Open in 2 weeks. See you there.

Is there going to be any chance for freestyle activity in Turku Open?

Those two guys I've been "teaching" (yeah, right...) net to are coming to Turku Open. They have been playing a lot, so results should be expected.

Sure there's freestyle activity in Turku Open IF you or someone else sets it up. Shred it up if you want. We're going to be in Kupittaanpuisto if it doesn't rain. If it rains, we'll just drink beer. Actually, we'll probably get Impivaaran tennishalli if it rains.

A few things I forgot to mention about my trip to Cali.

I saw Green Day. Not on stage, though. They were right next to me and Jukka in security control in San Francisco airport. The singer (is his name Billie Joe?) had some problems with his luggage. How cool is it to see one of your all-time favourite bands so close. Billie Joe looked like a junkie who hadn't had his fix in a week, but the other (Mike Dirnt?) guy looked like straight from their videos. Or is Mike Dirnt the singer? Anyway, the singer was the one who looked like a guy I'd stop in airport security.

I was told California is the most non-Bush state of them all but still me and Jukka managed to find a Bush lover. After a bar night in San Francisco we went to our local bar in Oakland. We were already wasted (Finnish wasted, not American totally crazy wasted, if you know what I mean; which most of you don't) and we had some more drinks, or so I was told. Apparently, we argued about US foreign policies for over an hour with an older, big black guy. He didn't seem to get our point, so I started insulting him personally. Maybe not a good idea, but luckily he wasn't violent (sp?).

I also passed out on Memorial Day, thanks to free beer for players, good margaritas at Tommy's Mexican Restaurant and very good strawberry margaritas at Tommy's Mexican Restaurant. Before passing out I insulted everyone in our entourage. I called Manu a midget, for example. Well...he is short. Jukka was nice enough to take video clips with his cell phone of me passing out. Jukka, YOU SUCK BIATCH

I'm not sure if I mentioned but my trip from P.T.'s place in Oakland to my home in Turku took 28 hours. F**k, I was beat when I finally got to bed.

Now I have jetlag and a flu. Tomorrow I have to go to work, which sucks. I hate the job and I hate myself for going there. Sure the money is okay, but it feels like taking a foot-long up the ass. And, I'm not talking about Subway. Why not just take a foot-long up there from a sailor in a dark alley behind some shady stripclub for a lot more money. Maybe I'm just bummed because I have to come back to the real world after a nice vacation.

And why the f**k is it so god-damn hot in here. It's barely 10 degrees celsius (f**k Fahrenheit) out there and I'm sweating in my brand-new clothes like crazy.

It's sunday night and life sucks.

I'm losing it.

This is actually the one summer I don't need that much money, because my trip to Worlds will cost between 15-30 €... And I'm already skipping European Champs so no money needed for that. I'm just trying to make myself believe I made the right decision. I've been working every summer since I was 15 so maybe it's time to take one off.

I'm happy and free. You can't put a price on that.

Matti, you can still make some money this summer. Just take footbag as your summer job and come home from Helsinki with a bunch of prize money in your pockets.

I took Olli's advice and aimed for the prize money in Turku Open. Instead I ended up losing the semis to Olli and Tuomas

. I'm actually happy because we had ten teams and two of them were intermediates. I hope those guys stick to footbag, we need new players.

Including Turku Open I've played 12 [68] times since my last post. My lower back hurts like hell when I play. I'm going to go see someone about that after our mid-summer party.

It's mid-summer now. I'm leaving to Himos for our summer cabin for 4 days with 16 friends. That's going to be loads of fun, sun, bbq and beer...

I went to dentist to get my tooth fixed. Fucking 282 Euros for fixing two teeth. I thought I only had one hole in them, but instead I had 6! Fucking rip-off.

Lets see, I've played 4 times this week, that makes it 72 in total. I consider this a half-way mark for this year, so if I want to play 150 times this year, I'm a little behind the schedule. Unfortunately I haven't been blessed with the fortune of playing doubles lately. It's mostly me and Osku playing singles. But today we are playing doubles + I have a mild hangover, those two are always good together.

Mid summer party at Himos went as I expected. Good times, cold beer, closest friends and clear skies. I've found recovering from a drinking spree harder and harder as I grow older. That' scary. I mean, after Himos I was barely able to sleep the next two nights, I was sweating all the time and my mind was working slowly.

My preparation for Worlds is going well. I've played six times [78] in the past 8 days. I even got to play doubles 3 times. On Saturday and on Sunday we played with jEkke, which is always super fun. He's such a good player and a great guy.

Geez, Worlds kick-off is less than two weeks away. I'm feeling really good about it. I really can't wait, it's going to be awesome.

Worlds.

I was 9th in doubles and 10th in singles. I played footbag 9 (87) times since my last entry. I've also eaten 7 times in Subway since the last time.

Funniest thing at Worlds for me was hanging out drinking with all the cool people.

Worst thing at Worlds for me was that I didn't get to T-bag anybody. So, the number 1 on my hitlist is still P.T. "Von Biatch" Lovern.

Weirdest thing at Worlds for me was in the afterparty of the final party at 8 am. I was sitting down with Peter Irish and Matt Cross. Matt was playing guitar and we were all drinking the booze Justin Sexton delivered us to the park by taxi. Out of the blue, I get hit in the face (really hard) by a raw apple thrown by Jere Vainikka from 100 feet away.

I might write more after I'm done with the Week-After-Worlds Syndrome.

I drink enough alcohol enough times of the week to kill several classrooms of small children a few times over.
