I'm glad you and her are cool. But don't lose your focus. You, ben, steve, and everyone else are keeping me motovated now. It would be quite a hit if you became less of an influence to me man.

Naw man, I'll shred it up hardcore, she's not a distraction because she LOVES footbag...which is one of to many reasons why shes perfect...and I don't think I can have her anymore after that perfect 24 hours...bah!

and LOL@ Ben, I had to look at the previous page to know what you were talking about. And I agree, if they start, just say "Ay! Footbag!"...and if I can talk without having pure green jealosy flow from my lips I'll back ya up

I'm just supposed to be her best homie... and here I am posting all jealous...I like that I gave them each other, but I would have preferred to without having thrown myself out of my zenness back into material reality once more for her... and now I'm all swimming in this regular world waiting for her golden ship to come back so we can fly back to the higher bliss again...but I'm worried I'm getting more and more tainted by everything the longer I ignore my voicemail message (which, for those of you who don't know is basically like a vacation message telling everyone that i'm busy and have no time for people..), and it seems I still have I good while to wait until that voyage. I'm just going to continue to hope that a soon to arrive epiphany will solve things like usual and try to be positive and productive til it does.

Oh, and meanwhile, good little session today with Steve and two of his not quite ready newbs...lots of good combos, but no big highlights or new things. They really liked backside smear>symp pixie>witchdoctor>merlin though..and I really liked the run with the ps whirl, mobius, and merlin in it...it was pretty cool. And there was at least one 30 contact run, but it wasn't that fancy...just my norm with more osis moves.

I'm having a session with Kalie tomorrow, I'll prolly post about it. Hopefully she'll kick more than 5 and give me some enlightenment. Maybe I'll do some good too, I think I'll just be coach and hack partner though to maximize her time. She see's me bust eough as is. Anyway, til later

Saturday was sick again, nine people. 3rd week in a row with more than 8 people. And next week is going to be huge (at least 20 people)

We taped, so that will be your session highlighs, although I did hit some cool stuff off camera, but thats not important. What is important is a thriving club and video and lots of bags, and pizza and footbag videos after the session for the second week in a row. Go Zombies!

Big session tomorrow with Ben, drills and stuff style rather than shred. Expect great highlights

Higlights from the session with Me, Ben, and John D. (megafighterx) on 5/23:

First let me say, John can be amazing when he really tries. You get so frustrated watching him not able to legover for months, but then he goes tiltess longer than the super newbs, or does butterfly> paradox mirage and its like "wow, why won't you stick with it?" Anyway, he's suppossedly out of retirement (which means I'm sure he will be frequenting modified over regularly again in the future) and maybe if he's real determined he'll make a blog. That would make 5 Vegas blogs...there's 4 already (did ya guys realize? Me, Ben, Steve, and Jeff).

Anyway, my highlights:

Pixie whirl>blur (repeat)>run
Sailing mirage really clean into a run
(like it was just easy tiltless fun) SS BS Smear (pixie same symp mirage)>witchdoctor>merlin>atomic ducking butterfly>nonchalant pass

Crispy backside ommlette>pixie merlin (first crispy symp ommlette)
MOBIUS BSOS!!!!

New 6 adds:

And even more fun stuff too. Hopefully I'll be getting those hard tricks on flip soon. And furious flip too. Thats what I need.

What a great day!!

I woke up at 6:00 and got shit done relaxedly to good music til 12:30, and then spent the rest of the day with Kalie (whose middle name is Acacia by the way, which I think is beautiful and use sometimes). We kicked for at least 5 hours throughout. She got her new shoes today (another brand spanking new kind of Lavers: Red and White Plaid with felty material different from the stripes) which are so cute! She loves them more than anything she could have recieved, and she and I always match now

. She is now an official shredita (at one month kicking as of next saturday). She started out the day kicking 2-4 every time, with good aim and pass skills, alternating her kicks every time (both sides, all surfaces). She got stoked anytime she got 3 or more. She was working on her outsides, and we got then more usuable (she can do "back kicks" now, rather than just little hip area kicks) Then, she put her Sandman down and worked with another bag. After I saved it with a clipper stall a few times, she started trying clipper kick and got it too me a good number of times with both clipper kicks (her first adds!). Then, she switched again... to the net bag! This is a girl who wanted to practice kicking a netbag before she could kick 7 times just to get better.

We got at least 4 hacks a couple times with the netbag, and once she kicked it 3 times with a controlled pass once. After playing with the netbag, the rest of the day with the Sandman was easy for her. She could kick 4 pretty easy, and sometimes 5, and then she got 6 for the first time! Then she started working outside stalls, got a bunch on both sides, and moved to inside stalls. They were giving her problems, but she ended up getting them usuable, though her ankle still stalls up by her knee rather than by her shin. After working these for a while, I got her to eventually try wrap and walkover, and you'll never believe it, but she went all the way from 3 kicks being good to inside stall>walk over> unwrap>pass both sides!! And she did both regualr wraps too! She couldn't stall at all at the begginning of the day! And, at the end of the session we finally laced the toe box, and she did some good toe stalls too. Her ankles are sore, she's kicked 8, and she's going to practice every day. Satuday is going to be sick. We should have at least 6 girls at the session on Satuday, and perhaps upwards of 10, it could be insane! She might be dexing by the end of the afternoon (not that that should be the goal right now)

Kalie is great! I'm so happy she's a part of my life

The following shred session went correspondingly well, though I took it easy and stayed in total control for lengths during the music rather than schooling, silly me. And my knees hurt, I need to take my supplements more. I've got this ultra super max joint effort with glucosamine and shit, but it does me no good if I don't take it. Gotta remember all the time...

You really need a challenge section but since you don't.

I was watching T.V. and for some reason this trick just popped in my head and I want you to try it, then put it in a combo:

Nuclear tapping barrage ( clip > same out [dex](tap) > same in[dex] > same in [dex] > op toe )

Combo: Nuclear tapping barrage > pixie paradon > repeat

It would be sickening if you hit that.

Man, you people let my blog slip to page two while I was out there working for all of you...don't you guys know how much effort I make? Even though I haven't blogged in a few days I've played more than 15 hours just in the past 3.

I played live on TRL!! Thats freestyle footage on one of the highest rated shows out there! And I go back officially on tuesday!

I thought there'd have been a thread about it or some posts here or pms or something...didn't anyone see it?

Anyway, shred is great, lots of fearless links, cool uniques, little if anything new though. I'm trying to put a routine together, but its hard to get the situation to be as productive as I'd like.

Just a few more details from saturday:

I contacted pornstar a few times too, and hit fury, pixie tap, and a few other good double dex set tricks.

And Ben luckily didn't have to watch Kalie and Angie make out, but Mike, Andrew and I got a little show... Oh, and Angie bought two pairs of Lavers! Black Plaid (

) and red plaid. She's doing excellently in them too. Perhaps she will blog soon.

And, with all this talk of girls, we had 5 there yesterday (with 4 in Lavers at one point), including Andrew's "friend" Angel. I will let her name speak for herself and say only that it seems to do her an injustice

She's going to be attending weekly, but is only in the first stages of kicking. I'm sure Andrew and Steve will make sure she gets a bit of practice before next week.

I don't know if you read this Emily/Moxie, but you should come up to Vegas and school all my girls. They're good, and going to be ridiculous by the end of summer, but having a good shredita come and play with them might further motivate them.

Some shred today with the girls, hour of practice on my own, and lots of hack...good prep for MTV tomorrow.

I want to hit blur>smoke>shmoe>pixie whirl, repeat. I think thats a really good practice combo. I will work it really good after MTV has left... routine style work is all I'm doing until they've filmed all they will film here...

I DO read your blog, I've just been busy over the last few days. Reading/posting on Modified is second to actually playing footbag for me.

If you read MY blog, you would know that I was turning 21 and having sessions and doing crazy stuff.

It's so exciting to hear that you are all so motivated. It’s also exciting to hear that there are five interested/dedicated women players. Let me know ASAP when you figure out tentative dates for your Vegas jam. Either way, I'll try to come out before the end of the year. Don't talk me up or they'll be disappointed. :-/
