Incoming Vegas Footage (Download me)

Post by FootbagginBum »

Edit: The link is http://www.mwhansen.org/footbag/VegasRaw_High.wmv Read the thread too though.

Hey guys, sorry for the momentary tease, but we have a video or two ready to release and we would like to know if anyone could host for us for faster speeds than .org (I will get them on .org too eventually so that they'll be available, but for now we just want a quick DL) Damon/Aaron? Chan? Mike? Sam? I think someone should be able to help pretty easily, but I didn't want to pressure anyone in specific, so I figured this would work.

If anyone wouldn't mind hosting for us, pm Ben ("professor") that you can host, and post that you pmed him here so his inbox isn't flooded.

Check back soon and a link to some sick shred should be found in the next few posts.

Peace all,
Bum

Ok here are the videos. If anyone needs smaller sized, lower quality, files, I can post those too. Thanks a ton to Mike Hansen for hosting the videos for us.

Shred Video:
http://www.mwhansen.org/footbag/VegasRaw_High.wmv

Funny/Bloopers Video:
http://www3.hmc.edu/~mwhansen/VegasRawFun_High.wmv

The shred video is clips from 3 Saturdays (5/14, 5/21, 5/28). There is no special editing, we wanted to be able to hear the actual music that was playing at the sessions. It's just straight shred.

The funny video is all the funny things that happened/were said at our sessions. I hope you find them funny as well.

Hope you enjoy.

And, I'm really curious what Jorden thinks...call that a post prompt or something if you will, but I'd like a reaction of some kind if you please, sir

More videos too come! (We may try a few different things... but for now, I hope you like the live sound Lon  )

Man, these Vids are so sick!!! Thanks so much to everyone who made them possible. Now that we've got this footage to show, there's nothing stopping the club.

Sin city's sickest will soar to the most heinous of heights and will give the world the supreme sample of all shred to be seen!

Peace to all, and here's to the future of footbag!

Now THATS what I like to here! We'd love to have ya.

I always try to get everyone playing on the beat, it increases consistancy, builds performance ability for routine work, and increases speed and agility as you increase the beat. Between that and the new sick 15, all my crew is going to be doing 20+ contacts in no time.

Oh, and sorry for the like, total lack or flip pixie and fairy on that...I really do do some...but not enough...

Peace,
Bum

It's like Dawn of the Dead ;)

Seriously nice videos!! I really enjoyed them - good shred - some top quality combos. Man I'm so jealous of Ben's osis run too :P. One little piece of criticism - some of the ducks in the video looked a little thin - if you don't feed them they will starve!

Thanks heaps. Oh yeah, you guys play to cool music as well - prodigy, matrix reloded sound track, there were a few other songs I recognised too - nice work!

*sigh*....now I like the video, but the blooper reel is pretty much me making an ass of myself. I'll post a reply later when I can think of how to explain myself.

you should hear this song "fix my sink"... It's one of the newbie favorites, but I remember back in the day John used to do a Japanese anime fall in the middle of his run the second the song started...  He just couldn't keep a straight face :?

Steve, you're awesome, don't feel bad...I waste time dropping toes for the music more than anyone, your just learning from the best ;-) And yours and Jeffs butts simply add flavor :D :P

Thanks for all the positive :-) I really like "Dawn of the dead", I may use that somewhere...And the same goes for you Hood, in the vids of you and Brad you display a lot of new skill since worlds. You've got a lot of similar style...so does Jeremy... It would be cool for the three of us to be in circle one day.

Peace,
Bum

Ya I know, I noticed that when making the video and I am now making sure my ducks are solid. Thanks for the advice.

This is Ben's first chance (as well as the rest of the non-me zombies) to watch himself on video. He is working every visible weakness to make himself stronger, and abusing strengths to make runs longer. I think watching this video will make the club so much better. Even if the only impact was me doing less flip para mirages, it would be huge, and everyone in the video got to see some aspects of their game in this light. So... the next video should be even more insane :-)

Peace and keep enjoying,
Bum
